There's more info that's needed here to answer that question, and there are a ton of threads around this subject. Actual tire height, width, offset of the wheels, what amount of work you wont to do to stop any amount of rubbing (sometimes only a little "tie back" is needed) all factor in to what...
Double check your spare and make sure you have a full size 18” spare wheel( check your build sheet as well). If so, grab a used 295/70 on eBay (unfortunately that size isn’t super cheap or common). The question is whether you will be able to fit it under there with the shields in place.
Getting...
I’ve only ever had to change to my spare on my trucks or wranglers twice. Both times it was sidewall tear (road debris) and on a highway with zero berm and I had to get changed fast and get out of traffic. Good thing I had a spare each time.
Personally I've found Terra Grapplers to degrade in road performance based on tire pressure. I never had any problems with non-LTs on one of my trucks because I never inflated it over ~38psi. But I had LTs on my wrangler, and would notice poor road manners especially in wet when hyper-inflated...
"Looks Good" is subjective. Only you can define what looks good to you.
"Good Technology" is given - everything on a new dealer lot today has "good" technology, and "great" technology can also be found as you add packages.
"4 wheel drive" - given, all the trucks can come in 4x4.
A forum is not...
Daystar 2", motofab 2" or 2.5" (depending on your rake), there are a lot of threads on the levels. Honestly, your pre-load spacer should have been fine to begin with, just feel like you got the short end of a bad install (again, judging on your definition of horrible ride).
I've used Customer Assistance and Others, but I think I'm always getting the same reps. Sarah, Amber, Alexander...and I can tell they are the same people because of how and what they type. I think they know me by now.
I bet they all think "Dude....patience..." when they see me pop on their screen.
Lol, so confusing. Ram Chat tells me they can't see anything past just the base "KZ" so I'm bewildered how some get so much more info than others. I just chatted with them just now about it and the guy confirmed again that only dealers can see past the base "KZ". Weird.
The 22s make no difference - I'm telling you I have a sneaky suspicion based on how awful you say the ride is now, that they jacked something up on the install (and I hope they end up fixing it when they put you back to stock) - I'd definitely go with a top-hat spacer next time and maybe...
So Ram Chat said KZ X (delivered), but the dealership seems to indicate that it's not there and they can't even get a ship date.
Honestly doesn't surprise me. I was told a lot of things through out my interactions with Ram Chat, I think many times they get the status wrong.
I'm particularly confused on the seemingly variable abilities of Ram Chat personnel to provide info. Granted, it's a great resource, so I feel a little guilty in complaining, but - I seem to get inconsistent info from them and see others on here getting more detailed info. I've had some reps be...
If you have the Mopar 2" lift kit or 3.5" Readylift kit and haven't installed it yet, please message me! I have some questions specifically about the rear bumper pad spacers/bump stop spacers.
I'm either making my own (so could use some quick dimensions), or looking to grab some from someone...
Okay - Yeah, I can see that the top plate bolts are not equidistant when I really look at them - Duh.
However, I still don't think the top plate has an angle to it, but I personally can't validate until I get my truck. I just think that Readylift would have done their due diligence and known...
Perhaps you are referring to the stock shock top mount having an angle, not the aftermarket top-hat spacer? I think I understand what you are saying now. I thought you were referring to the aftermarket part having an angle.
And honestly just want to state again
I do have them, but only the shocks and springs - it's not fully assembled, so I wouldn't be able to do that test. My truck is finally in-transit, and when I pull it apart I plan to check a bunch of things out!
What I can say is this - I've looked under...
