Yup, I ordered all the OEM parts from that thread, controller, dash switch, bracket, screws and plate nuts, $129 shipped. Ordered over the weekend and arrived today. Installing this weekend.
Love the Griots dressing. I use the prep too about every 3rd or 4th time I use he dressing to clean up the rubber. I prefer a deep black matt look over anything shiny and this stuff is perfect for that look.
Yeah, that has to really add up. I did a 2200 mile trip from SoCal to Oregon and back when my
truck barely had 2k on the odometer. 75-80 mph on the freeway on the way up through a lot of
mountain inclines and then on the way home south of SF 4 hours on a windy coastal highway with
some stops...
Pretty impressive reduction, cutting it in about half if I'm reading that correct.
That said coming out of a manual Challenger with a 392 and catback/intake ( and
the intentional minimal sound insulation on that car) this truck sounds like a library
inside to me in stock form.
I removed mine last week, very easy with a blow dryer. I removed the visors but didn't really need to, would have been
almost as easy leaving them in place. There is still a little glue residue ( bothers me less than the sticker ) that I'll be going
back to see if I can get rid of it. Depending...
