Not sure why anyone would want to use outdated and featureless factory nav anyways regardless of manufacturer. CarPlay or Android Auto with Maps or Waze ensures you always have the most up to date maps, live traffic rerouting etc.
Until you can charge an EV as quickly as you can fill up a tank of gas and in as many places they will never become mainstream. The range is pretty much there with ~300 miles per charge. Pending some sort of tech breakthrough its gonna be 50+ years before ICE is fully gone.
Even the guy who sells nothing but EV's said this country doesnt have the infrastructure to support 100% ev usage in 14 years. I wouldnt worry about resale values or if you are really worried about it buy used. Trucks will always be in demand and Ram has been killing the game lately, the more...
I'm averaging 17-18 mixed in mine. Havent hit 3k miles yet so once I do the initial oil change it should go up a little bit more if my 2020 regular hemi was any indication.
Bet they are saving it for a special edition model. The 4th gen had a Hydro Blue with black accents as a special edition.
From my research you can only get the night editions in White, Black, Flame Red, Billet Silver, Granite Crystal and Ivory Pearl
I believe its 2 screws on top of the dash and then just clips around the edges. If you dont already have some I'd recommend getting some trim removal tools as they come in handy when running wire as well.
APSUB-CH41 is plug and play to add subs/amp. Does require you to pull the screen out but don't have to cut anything. Otherwise you will need a line out converter and have to hack the factory wiring to get a signal.
Ideally you'd want mid bass woofers in your doors especially if you don't plan on amplifying them. I am using CDT CL-69S for the front doors and the infinity 3032cfx for the dash and headliner. Also adding 2 10's under the rear seats but that is only thing that will be amplified. I may add...
Last I heard there is an I-6 turbo gas engine coming that will eventually replace the 5.7. Those plans may have been scrapped or put on hold as I would have expected those to show up in the new Grand Wagoneer/Grand Cherokee L.
If we are talking about the HD 6.4 then yes it would be pointless but if we are talking about the SRT 6.4 with 485 hp then thats a significant bump and what I'd expect them to put in the 1500(similar to the Wrangler).
I can almost 100% say you wouldnt be able to retain etorque if you swapped a 6.4 into your truck. I have a feeling Ram will give us a 6.4 1500 at some point in the next few years seeing as how they finally put one into the Wrangler. At that point it would likely be easier/cheaper to trade your...
6.4 has MDS unless you opt for the Tremec. As far as what will bolt on to the 5.7, the intake manifold and I am pretty sure the heads will as well. If you were really ambitious the Hellcat blower will bolt on with an adapter plate although the inlet points the wrong way for the airbox, havent...
It plugs into the power supply for the rear view mirror so all you have to do is plug it in and plug the usb from the dash cam into it. All hides neatly in the shroud on the windshield. No need for a fuse tap.
Or you can grab one of these and make it even easier. SimpleUSBPort Dash Cam Power Adapter (10-pin Type D) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08B91BT9Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_KtO9FbRGCWJW4
