Points 1, 2, 3, & 5 could be prevented by engaging the shift interlock when the key fob exits the vehicle and the vehicle is running. The same shift interlock that prevents the vehicle from being shifted into gear when it's in remote start mode.

I would start by checking and replacing your cabin air filter, if you haven't done so recently since yours seems to be restricted airflow more than a temperature issue. They work very well and are easy to forget about.
