See my statement you replied to. Smells like antifreeze after shut down.
Never said it's normal, it's a trait of the vehicle. Who would take a vehicle into the dealer for an antifreeze smell when its not down antifreeze?
I'll leave the service dept time for the guys with the 2025s, they need it!
@DEG overfilled by definition is anything above the max line in the bottle.
It would have to be way over that to get it to leak on the ground! Plenty of room above the max mark in the bottle.
Help me understand your logic. If I smell coolant I must have a coolant leak, yet my coolant level...
Who said it leaks? It's an antifreeze odor after the truck is shutdown. Pretty noticeable if it's garaged.
My truck doesn't see the dealer so no one's topping off the coolant.
Just a trait of the Rams... no big deal IMO.
This is what I and many have used.
Some folks used painters tape to mask it, I just put painters tape at the ends to block it and endure it stayed at the top of the window.
Never had a leak and with the Permatex I'm sure I won't...
My first two didn't, current one does.
It does not leak coolant, the coolant level does not change.
Your crazy if you think I'd be taking it into the dealer for that.
Mark your overflow tank dipstick. If it's not using or losing any coolant, move on with life.
eTorque is the MGU, the battery pack behind the rear seat and more. You cannot "disable" it.
You can disable the auto start stop, the automatic shut offs at stop lights, etc.
The non eTorque Hemi does not have that feature so nothing to disable.
I've had a '19 Laramie with 8.4" screen and currently have a '19 Limited with the 12".
No major issues with either (regular Hemi here). Time will tell if I regret getting the air suspension, but it's garaged.
I'd say get the cleanest '19-'22 you can, including a clean Carfax with minimal...
I'm shocked you stuck with it through all of this.
What's even more shocking is how they took an overall pretty good '19-'24 truck and released the '25 with a host of issues (that admittedly not everyone is experiencing).
If I had to buy a new truck today, it'd be a Sierra and not a Ram...
