In my opinion, you don’t want the nav. I have it and it’s worthless to me as I always use Waze. Plus the nav comes with weather and traffic with annoying weather pop-ups until the free trial is up with Sirius.
I have been working on my Maximum Steel Laramie 4x4 for a couple of weeks now and have just about got it perfect for me, so I thought I'd share with the Ramily!
Only a couple of items remain, receiving and installing my AFE CAI, and "possibly" new pipes. Still not sure I want the additional...
I measured from inside the top lip (under the finger-hold) this likely makes the full height at 7 1/8” or so. Either way would fit just fine as I left a little space between the top of the box and bottom of the seat.
I ordered my blue one a few days ago and called them today to follow up. They said that the blue and the gray Magnum Force will not be available until later this month (awaiting production of the housing).
By contrast, the Momentum GT has yet to enter production so it will be late February or...
THIS...but I have a MagTuff magnet from Amazon and they are super strong. I pull my in-waistband holster and stick it under the dash with the gun inside. It holds perfectly. Had the same on previous trucks and never had an issue.
I used 2 small screws in opposite diagonal corners and it holds...
I’ve got the AFE Magnum on order. Do you “really” need to tune to use CAI, or should I expect brain or other problems down the road?
FYI - I’m not upgrading the exhaust until I hear it with the CAI installed...I’m old and don’t want it too loud. :)
Just curious if you are having any backup camera issues. Mine did this exact thing (along with occasional backup camera blue screen) until I had the dealership replace my camera and harness. My truck was built in May 2018 and apparently the camera didn’t like moisture (one trip through a car...
I added my own Under-Seat storage and detailed how in the post linked below. It only took 30 minutes and I love the way it turned out. Perfect for me and only $9 (nine dollars). :p

Well, I got a little industrious this afternoon and resolved my under-seat storage issue for $9....yes, nine dollars!
If you have an accessible Home Depot, a utility knife (or preferably a Dremel tool), tape measure, a few screws and 45 minutes, you can build your storage as the pictures...
So far, only the 8.4 Nav and only because the weather pop ups drive me nuts. When it’s windy or cold, or almost everything else, stupid Sirius feels I must be notified repeatedly. This option just happened to be on the truck I wanted.
This becomes hazardous as, when I’m trying to navigate to an...
I think you’ll want to press for the camera module to be replaced. That seems to be the only surefire fix. Mine has had zero issues with the camera or the radio since the replacement of my camera last week, even with rain and high humidity.
Just as an update, I had to make 2 trips to the dealership before they would agree to replace the camera and the harness. Now that it's replaced, the backup camera has been working perfectly for a few days. I have yet to drive through a carwash, so the jury may still be out on the final...
Sorry brother. You’ll thank yourself when it’s done!
I’ll be posting pics of my truck once the weather (and my work schedule) cooperates. Maybe next week.
I love the way it sits and rides with the RL 66-1921 kit installed. There is about 1/2” rake left (which is hardly noticeable) and made a dramatic change to the stance of the truck with no ride compromises at all!
To be honest, even though the bushings don’t seem as firm as the stock UCA...
I don’t let them types even get in my RMC (rolling man cave)!
However, since I’ll have to live in this thing soon (heck that’s where all my money is now), it’s important for it not to spill while I’m napping.
Well Geo, I would need to see transcripts to ensure your overall gpa would’ve passed muster!
Being a newbie here, I am only now seeing that I must be careful or I could end up with a cab full of testosterone fueled RAM truck enthusiasts with dinner conversation centering around lift kits and...
