That’s correct. I looked at F150’s in my area and couldn’t find anything close to the configuration I wanted. The F150 has ESS which I was trying to avoid.
My previous vehicle was a 2019 Jeep Wrangler with the 3.6 V6 (pretty sure this is the same as the base engine in the Ram 1500). Anyhow, the past year I didn’t drive near as much as normal because of covid. My battery couldn’t keep up with my driving needs. A big factor was ESS. The Jeep had two...
I would probably go with a Ford. I seriously looked at them before going with the Ram. I didn’t like the tiny turbo motors and aluminum bodies (hood and tailgate in the Ram are more than enough). I like the Ram 5.7 Hemi with no ESS. I’m talking the tradition “half ton” pickup. If I were going a...
My Ram is not really broken in yet but I’m getting bad mileage, 12-13 mpg but it’s a hoot to drive. Most of my driving is stop and go city driving. No complaints.
I just came from a Jeep Wrangler. Talk about a huge key fob. I’m happy with the Ram Key fob. And it’s much better designed. Same company, seems like one brand could learn from the other.
I just traded a 2019 Jeep Wrangler in on a 2021 Ram. My main complaint with the Jeep was ESS. The Jeep had two batteries, one for the starter and one for everything else. I drove much less than normal last year and the batteries wouldn’t stay charged. A big part of this was because during my...
In my area dealers seem to be very concerned with online reviews right now. When you talk to your dealer I suggest you let them know, without threatening that your reviews will be based on resolution.
Just paste the part number in the Amazon search field and several options pop up. About $120 and free shipping with Prime. I tried to post a link but it brought up my Amazon account.
I have OEM rubber mats just because they came from the factory in my Ram. I am very impressed with them. Good coverage, high lip and they look good and stay in place.
I’ve been a member for a short time. I am a member of several other Internet forums of different interests. I have noticed that this is by far one of the most civil forums I have ever experienced. I enjoy surfing here, asking questions, offering opinions, etc. No drama, only minor sparring...
I’ve been an Apple fan since day one. I had to change my carrier because originally AT&T had an iPhone exclusive. I also use an iPad instead of a PC, I like the way the phone and tablet work together with contacts, messages, ebooks, etc. Over the years I have purchased numerous apps for the...
I had to go out and look. Driver‘s side only.
5YK46TX7AC is the part number. Copy and search on Amazon. A few bucks more but no freight with Prime.
edit: BigEar out did me with an Amazon link.
Several years ago I towed a small FWD import with a V6 Explorer. I rented one of those dollies that capture the front wheels and use the towed vehicle’s rear wheels. A 500 mile trip with no issues.
