When I bought my Ram, I only noticed “dealer installed options” when I sat down with the F&I guy. About $1,000 - McGuard’s, window tint voucher, and a funky Mopar GPS thingy. I told the finance guy this was a show stopper and they could keep the Ram. He told me that the sales guy was new and...
I had a 2019 Wrangler before my Ram. I liked it a lot and miss it but all in all the Ram is a better fit for my needs.
2014 Harley Road King. I had to quit riding a couple of years ago due to a bad knee. I miss riding every day.
I have a DeWalt 20 volt. I already had some 20 volt tools and batteries so I purchased the vacuum only. Very handy, good suction, wet or dry. And there is a built in hose so you can get in the tight places.
I put my foot in it when I drive. It is ”throttle by wire” so there is a built in buffer that prevents you from taking full advantage of the fuel injectors when taking off.
Might be time to get offers from CarMax, Carvana, Vroom, givemethevin, etc. You seen to think it’s a lemon. And it’s almost three years old so the lack of warranty is not as much of an issue.
How? Everything thing I’ve read indicates you need a tuner, mopar installed high performance cam, or something like keep it in max 5th gear mode. I would like to have the ability to disable it in set up. Thanks.
I was out and about today running errands. Anyhow, I went to my truck and there was a TRX parked next to it. I was admiring the TRX and checking it out. The owner came out and I introduced myself and told him that I really liked his truck. We had a nice chat and he showed me around - interior...
My first Ram was a 197x. Not even sure if it was a Ram at the time, it might have been a Dodge pickup. It had a 318 ci V8 and an industry first, a club cab. An 8’ bed, two door with folding jump seats in the back.
Good point. First, I don’t own a $70,000 Ram and if I could order my dream Hellcat it would be closer to $100,000. I take very good care of my truck but I drive it in all kinds of weather, don’t avoid unimproved roads, etc. I wouldn’t haul mulch or grass sod in a Hellcat but would in my Ram.
Right on. If I owned a Porsche or maybe a Hellcat I might be more particular washing it. That and I generally trade vehicles every three years. Never once have I been gigged at trade time in time due to finish issues.
In no way am I ragging on you guys who like to keep your trucks pristine...
You might consider buying a set of four McGard locking lugs. All four and the key would be less expensive than one OEM lug from the dealer. Then you would have three spares.
The Ram is the first vehicle I have owned with remote start. I bought my Ram off the lot, had I ordered I would not have optioned remote start. Anyhow, it’s very hot in Texas. This afternoon I made a quick run to the grocery store for a weeks worth of food. While waiting in the check out line, I...
