Anyone else install .5 spacers? I recently installed 295/60/20s on my stock Laramie wheels and the tires are really close to the UCA. Just want a little breathing room without switching the wheels out or going with thicker spacers.
Installed mine last night. I agree on the previous post regarding a 18mm ratcheting wrench. The Hellwig bar is worth every single dollar! My ride to work consists of a road with 3 million manholes that were installed low and every one that I drove over felt like my truck was falling into before...
I too thought about adding the ORG coils to my non-ORG Laramie, but have read that they run noticeably stiffer. I'm gonna pull the RC spacers on mine and swap out for the Bilsteins all the way around and a 1" rear coil spacer and see how that goes.
Ordered these today from Summit Racing. Hellwig coming Monday also. Can’t wait to feel the difference with these and the rear sway bar...and that’s fine tuning an already great riding truck!
I'm dying to hear some feedback from someone that has installed these on their 5th gen. I wanna order these and a Hellwig rear swaybar for improved suspension and leveling.
I did have heated tow mirrors before, so I cannot confirm if the Genie will provide heat if you didn't have them originally. I would contact them to confirm.
Installed the setup this morning. I bought the parts separately, which totaled approx $800 for everything. Whether you do that or the the Infotainment kit, it all installs very easily. My parts all installed without issue. I’m very happy with the swap and found this thread to be a wealth of...
