There are a ton of car washes around here. They have become more plentiful than banks and churches. NOT ONE IS TOUCHLESS! So, my truck stays dirty a lot. Hand washes only.
Funny you say that. My first concern, after getting up, was did the ladder hit the truck when it flipped. I found a dirty spot on the door where I think my shoe must have rubbed it. No damage thankfully.
Finally had a nice weather day so I washed it. Pulled it into the shop to wipe it down with some detail spray and clean the glass. While on the top platform of step ladder (about 4’) cleaning the sunroof glass, I stepped off the wrong side (no steps) and ended up on the concrete on my shoulder...
That’s good. That’s the right way to do it. It might be that one of the bolts were not tightened properly and over time the bolt hole on the flange is ovaled out. I don’t see the bolt head moving though. Just a thought.
When the UCA’s were installed, were the bolts left loose until the suspension was fully loaded with the weight of the truck, then torqued down? Or were they torqued down with the suspension hanging?
I had the same experience when I purchased my 2022 Laramie. Quick, easy, and two local dealers basically laughed and said they couldn’t touch that deal.
Keep us updated! These kinds of threads help people solve issues for years. A lot of times, these kinds of threads just die with no resolution, which is very frustrating when other people experience the same issues and can’t find a fix.
