Stop using Rotella - it's not supposed to be used in these engines. Stellantis even put out a bulletin telling dealers to stop putting it in vehicles. Your service department is apparently a bunch of ignoramuses.
At this point, probably not. If you had actally asked them the next day, it's usually possible for them to re-do the paperwork in that short of a timespan, but some dealers might not unless you have a good relationship with them as they are clearly not supposed to operate that way.
Went for another drive and it still ran like crap. And I started to notice something weird - even after disabling brake hold, my truck was holding the brakes for about 2 seconds every time I took my foot off. Well I about went into panic mode thinking this version f’d up my truck. Started...
I know the Tazer doesn’t directly interact with the trans, but resetting the adaptives clearly sent my trans back into a learning mode, and after 8 miles of city driving it still isn’t operating how it was. Hopefully it just needs a little more time to adjust, because right now it’s maddening...
I'm on the latest version and it seems to be working okay. I haven’t tinkered with much though. Started with an unmarried Tazer, then applied the firmware update. Married to the truck. Disabled fog light dropout, did a full reboot, and 2 sleep cycles. Started the truck and enabled brake hold and...
These were a bit of a pain to install. Watched a YouTube video and that guy didn’t have nearly as much trouble as I did. I could not get the rivnuts in without taking a dremel to knock down some of the bed liner in the holes. I then tried the instructional method of just torquing the bolt (using...
I didn't even remove the film over the adhesive for the harness. You can wedge it underneath the factory wiring loom where the headliner/windsheild meet and it will stay put.
Comma recently moved to a "laneless" AI model where it doesn't rely on lane markers to steer (allows use on unmarked or...
99% of music is recorded in stereo and it's supposed to sound like it's coming from in front of you. Play with the fade/balance settings if you want a "surround" gimmick.
I would not pry from the top of the headliner - more likely to break something. I tackled mine mostly the same way as Stuart - the 4 tabs you see in the video can be unhooked with a tiny flathead. Slot it in the crack between the trim pieces and pry just slightly for each of the 4 tabs - a...
Regenerative braking with an eTorque motor does not occur until you are actively using the brake pedal (at least a little bit) - you can verify this with live OBD data. It's virtually unnoticeable, which is probably what they intended. If your feet are off the pedals, your truck is just...
You don't even necessarily need the dev kit because it includes a harness connector you can't use without modifying. You can a la carte the items you need - the harness box and comma power v2 will run you $120. You can also buy their $20 RJ45 Ethernet cable, or get a cheaper one from elsewhere...
Looks like they had a mix-up with their harness availability - comma does not actually have the RAM harness available yet. Stated 1-2 weeks until they release it. I almost ordered yesterday, and they have since removed the option for our harness.
Ohms is merely part of the equation - you can match ohms, but end up with more efficient speakers, which will create more volume with the same amount of power... hence louder droning noise from ANC.
