The power running boards don't contribute to it but they don't stop the rocks like fixed boards do. The fixed boards stick out far enough to provide a block to most of the rocks and crap kicked up by the front tires before the crap can hit the body.

I had that issue on my old Titan, on all my Rams I have installed fixed running boards and have not had any issues with paint chipping on the fronts of the rear fenders. Mud flaps only protect the area right behind them. If you have 6" long mud flaps you will protect six inches behind the flap.

It's a pickup truck bed, they are not sealed by design. The are engineered to be open to the elements and drain water, sure you can add a cover but it will never be completely sealed like a car or suv.

yea I went and checked mine and it looked way darker then the bright purple the last time I checked it. I'll admit has probably been a month or so since I popped the hood.

Another issue if you get the truck home and then realize their is an issue with the truck, paint defect, something out of wack. Sure you could take it to a local dealer but may not be as willing to take care of the issue.

sometimes when I turn my wipers off they stop about an inch above the standard park position. If I cycle them again they unusually park in the correct location, just a little annoying.

They did change the floor on the drivers foot well. The 2025's have a dead pedal and the 2024 and older do not.

If it's semigloss It's probably going to be to shiny as they are more of a matte to maybe Satin finish.

I would say the black color is pretty dead on, the biggest difference is the boarders. All of the RAM badges on the truck have a beveled edge while the Laramie badge has it's own nickle like boarder and the 4x4 has no bevel so with the overlay on it you don't get that same chrome outlined...
