Idk if it's the same in every state, but I tried to go after the trucking company for the rock that hit my windshield. I have a dashcam. Didn't matter. Found out as soon as that rock hits the ground it's no longer their responsibility. It's considered a 'road hazard' at that point. And 99% of...
I live in OH and drive into MI for work every day. I would prefer to have a LSD, but not having one hasn't been a problem at all really, especially in 4WD. It does tend to spin the inside tire when making a turn from a stop in 2WD when it's wet, but the TC will kick in to take care of that if...
I see. That would be handy in your situation. Shoulda bought a truck with nav then since wifi is part of that package. Or get a portable hotspot and leave it in the console if you don't want your phone used for that. But since the vast majority of vehicle owners don't have those same needs, they...
Don't know why anyone needs wifi in a vehicle anyway. You still need a data connection to the outside world for it to be useful, and your phone already has that connection. If your kids 'need' to have a data connection for their iPad or whatever, just turn on the hotspot on your phone. It likely...
I've seen this complaint on here before. Unfortunately it's not adjustable, so if you don't like it the only option is to turn it off in the Uconnect vehicle settings.
Don't think there's a bed cam option for the 1500s, just the HD trucks. The camera by the 3rd brake light is for the digital rear view camera. It's part of the Tech Group with the HUD and LED 3rd brake light.
I don't think anyone that's ordered a '22 has a price yet. Could be wrong, but last I saw the ordering was open in the dealer system, but no pricing was listed. Should be available soon though. I believe Sterling Heights is switching over to building '22s towards the end of July.
Port #3 on the left will activate Carplay, port on the right will not (charge only). You can also plug in a good old-fashioned wall charger to the 115v outlet right under the USBs.
My daughter has been looking to get a truck so I've been looking at a lot of '21 window stickers helping her search. I noticed a lot of them also show active air dam delete. Probably due to the microchip shortage or supplier issue. They need to keep cranking them out, and the fuel savings is...
Tried switching to a different source and then back to XM? I've lost sound before when plugging in my phone and simply switching to FM then back to XM brought it back.
Not from the factory. There is an aftermarket solution that a lot of people on this forum use.

You can buy a 'charge only' cable that won't pass data. Does it play the game sounds even when you switch it back to FM or SXM? That's weird. You can also disable Carplay directly on her phone:
How would that help though? The wifi just provides a connection between the truck and your phone. The truck still needs a cell connection to the outside world to do anything. It stands to reason that if you phone has no (or poor) data connection, your truck probably won't be any better. Although...
Congrats on the new EV. While I think they're interesting, I also agree with everyone who says it shouldn't be called a Mustang. But it's done and we'll have to get used to it. There appears to be a Corvette SUV in the works too! 🤯
Maybe Stellantis will get in on the action with a Challenger...
I think Tidal is still top of the list if streaming audio quality is a high priority. But it gets pricey for the lossless/highest quality plan unless you have a student/military/family discount. I use it, but mostly because it's included with my cell plan...
