Welcome and congrats on the truck! Just am FYI this forum is specifically dedicated to the 5th gen 2019 and later trucks. You'll likely find more useful discussion and content of the 4th gen site since the classic is the 4th gen truck.
Did anyone know where I could find descriptions of the customer preferred packages? My window sticker lists customer preferred package 21H but this isn't something I selected when ordering so I assume it just deceived the combination of packages I selected?
It is not currently listed in the Level 2 package for Laramie or Rebel on the U.S build site. When I placed an order in December and the dealer pulled up the package on his computer it was listed but it is not included on my window sticker or build sheet.
Especially with all the battery issues newer cars seem to have- sometimes even a jump won't help if the battery is too low. Everything moves slow in these temps.
I'm just curious why you're making the switch if your 1500 has the room you want and you've got towing dialed in? I tow a similar travel trailer and I am guessing it is not so much how the truck tows as much as how much the engine is working in the 1500 and the frequency of your towing?
Likely several thousand people can't getvtheir internal combustion cars started today either - just saying. Meanwhile my Plug-in hybrid will pre heat itself in the garage this morning and have a warm cabin and battery when my wife leaves the house.
Truck moved to shipped status on the 17th with an estimated delivery of 2/6. Hoping it is faster as the incentives for the Midwest are pretty good for Laramies this month. Could be a bit complicated as my trade is sitting at the dealership waiting on a part after the tech broke some wires...
It's not just urban guys- lots of surveys have shown less than 25% of pickup owners hauls with their trucks and less than 10% tow more than once a year. Long story short more than half of all truck owners use their truck as a commuter vehicle and to project an image. An EV truck would likely...
Not available as in no.longer generated by Stellantis at all or just not avail using the equipment listing link - i.e. the dealer or ram care can perhaps send it to me?
Well I guess that explains it! That is unfortunate as it was a nice way to reference and confirm actual equipment. Will be interesting tonsee how long until my window sticker is available I guess. Thanks for solving the mystery!
I saw that and tried chat myself but they were also unable to get the build sheet. Tried using my current vin and it worked fine so seems the problem is just my lack of patience! The ram tracker is so random it is hard to put any faith in it.
Had anyone successfully pulled a build sheet recently? The tracker says by truck was built on 1/15 but when I try to use the build sheet link it still says Ooop unsupported VIN. Maybe it just needs a few more days?
Ram tracker updated today and shows my order was built on Wednesday 1/15. Still am unable to generate a build sheet or window sticker but hoping this means it will ship soon. Even though I've ordered before I just can't stop myself from getting a bit obsessive tracking progress. I tries ram...
I believe MD will make trade offers via photos and descriptions online without requiring you to be in person. Might want to ask about that so you can know the deal and not need to complicate things.
