have had and still have problems. I would do it again. I believe I can get all my issues fixed. If/ WHEN the truck works like its suppose dto, I believe it's the best one out there. Ford is outdated at this point, GM reeks of cheap plastic everywhere and is small inside.
Made a video on some...
Picked my truck up today. It will be a week or so before the backordered rear brake parts will be in. So far, so good with the squealing. They replaced the front pads which I believe were the cause of the sound. Hopefully, that will fix the squeal and the rear parts will fix the groan.
On a...
Got word today that the parts for the rear brakes are backordered until 5/23. I can say that RamCares has been on top of this. I have been getting daily updates from the service manager and a rep from FCA. Really happy with how I've been treated and appreciate RamCares for reaching out to me.
I had those same brackets on my 2500. They are a little pricey, but they are good quality and you can adjust them to where they leave a little gap between the hood. If you're wanting pods on the hood those brackets are the way to go.
Here's a video on the ones for the 2500 which are basically...
My dealer called me today and told me my truck was ready. They replaced the pads on the front, but didn't address the TSB for the rear. I asked them to look at the TSB # I gave them. They called back and told me they'd need to get back with me on Monday. I dont' want to have to bring it back...
My truck gets great mileage( i think). I have a few videos on my youtube channel in my bio one for hwy, interstate, city, and towing. I have been impressed with how good this truck does on mpg, especially since I read so much negative about mileage on some forum members trucks.
I've been with this 4th gen for a few days now while mine is in the shop and I really notice the difference in rear seat room. I was kind of wanting to get back into a diesel after all these problems with my 1500(plus the ability to tow more) but I don't think I could go backwards in space with...
The lack of the new cab is what's killing me about them. I looked at a 75k 2500 yesterday at the dealer. I liked everything about the truck except for the fact that tthe cab on my 1500 is bigger. I took mine in to get repairs done and they gave me an old body style loner. I couldn't believe how...
Sorry to hear that. I will say my dealer gave me a brand new truck to drive while they work on mine. Had 10 miles on it when I got it. Its a 2019 classic. It is a good comparison of how much stuff they changed on the redesign.
Mine should be going in next week for the brake squeal and other things. I'll post back if they get it fixed.
Sending this video to Ram Cares since they asked about the issues. Mine also does the groaning when backing up, but I didn't get a clip of it. The squeal bothers me much more.
Waiting on my dealer to call me back with a time to take my truck back in. I hope to get the brakes, mirror, steering/horn issue, and 2 recalls done. I also hope they can update the software that fixes the drone from the noise cancelling stuff. Since most of my stuff is hard to replicate at the...
That's true, but I find payload to be the weakpoint of the half-ton market. The gearing, even the 3.21s, seem to pull loads up to payload just fine. 4.30s would surely be better, but those also contribute to Toyota having worst in class mileage not loaded.
I test drove a 2019 Tundra the other day just to see...It was not even close to the Ram. Noise, ride, transmission, it was all worse in the Tundra. I know, I know, it's about the Toyota reliability. It should be; I felt like I was in 2007 sitting in the Tundra. They should have all the kinks...
I suggested the same thing to my dealer. They said they had to go through the process. Problem is, that process involves me having to come back in, getting them to replicate the issue, etc...
