Well played
Yeah since I sold my 2019 3500 Cummins for a pretty penny (and more than I bought for by a good margin) told my wife some of that money was being earmarked for what may be my last non-EV vehicle. Wanted it "mine" and for once I wanted it to sound good....I used to drive around...
Yeah, I will have to check. He actually built a '33 Ford coupe and did it in the "same color"....but the 33 has metallic but I not sure about the Coronet tbh. Painted himself (used to be a body man). Built a booth in his garage and piece by piece..... Was funny seeing doors, trunk lid...
FIL had a '68 Coronet 500 in "Light Turquoise" (close to 11) that he factory ordered and paid cash for as a 21 year old. He had it until a few years before I came into the picture (2004) but he sold it to his cousin. Body and color just work.
That said, color depends on the vehicle.
Well....I guess I was wrong to assume about 1 piece. Yes....infinite-z would certainly be a challenge for a beginner. Not being accustomed to a standard slicer and print geometries....and of course printing in PETG.
LOL....just thinking about a single job taking upwards 11 pounds of filament...
It actually hasn't been THAT bad. The only saving grace is my wife owns her own business, has a "company" car and we both work from home. I sold my 3500 Cummins I had until I sold in September so summer was essentially spent. I want to get into this truck and enjoy summer with all the extras...
Just for a little insight.....my VINs at 308 and the other at 314 (both Limited...neither built yet) were ordered in September and December respectively....with VINs not assigned until Valentines Day for both....of course just as a friendly reminder I was getting ****ed!
Yeah, I am wishing now I bought an infinite Z instead of my large volume coreXY. All in all would have been way cheaper to get what I got with far few limitations.
And that Naomi Wu....damn! ;)
