    Finally going in for service

Thanks. Looks like just installed a bracket. Does it work? Would seem to be a pads issue. Not sure I want that installed with the bolt head shape (don't have tools to loosen them if I wanted to do a brake job).

    Price negotiated from MSRP

You can also get the Truecar code for $500 and don't have to spend $100. Only good for two weeks so you need to wait until right before taking delivery. Penfed is only $500 now so if not already a member doesn't pay to sign up.

    Finally going in for service

Do you have the tsb number for the brakes? Common problem.

    Finally going in for service

What is the TSB for the brake moan? Maybe look into the fuel filler TSB if yours cuts off at the pump unless holding the handle.

Losing price protection if financed through chrysler

They are screwing with you. As long as you don't have a deposit (or can get it back, which you should unless you signed something saying it was non refundable) don't take delivery and order from Mark Dodge. Can still order a '22 through this week.

    Thoughts on Sell Price

Too bad you aren't looking for a truck to buy instead of sell. If you had a few cases of baby formula, I bet you could trade straight up for a truck like yours.

    Cargo light replacements

I have the Lasfit cargo lights in my 2020. Ram changed the canbus starting 2021 MY and the Lasfit don't work in 2021+ according to their chat. What are the best option(s) for 2021+ trucks? Or anyone use them in a 2021+ Laramie+ successfully?

Don't forget to change those cabin filters guys....just did and WHOA!

Look for the feds to make these mandatory in all new vehicles. Maybe then people will stop wearing a mask when by themselves in their vehicle? Nah...

Don't forget to change those cabin filters guys....just did and WHOA!

I have the K&N. Replaced the OEM after about 4k miles. 13k miles on the K&N and it just had some leaf pieces. Not that bad at all.

    40K service

I clean the throttle body with carb cleaner every 25k on my vehicles. Just try to get the back side of the plate and edges. Improves responsiveness. If you do it use a lint free non-shedding cloth.

Who else is disappointed in the New 2022 1500 build quality?

There is one big dealer chain around here that has a 7 day return period.

22 Laramie with 5.7 etorque question

No issues, 2020 with 17k. I don't like the feel of the regenerative braking. But have mostly gotten used to it and it doesn't bother me much anymore. Otherwise some of the system's features are actually good.

Last year the last day to order a 21 was May 5 or something like that. It will probably be similar this year, though could vary a little bit. So ordering this late in April probably means that it will be one of the last batches of 22s produced.

    2022 RAM 1500 not starting

    Sounds like a bad battery.

    3:21 vs 3:92 Gears

3.92 have 400ish higher RPM at 70 mph. Almost all the complaints I have seen of really bad mpg are with 3 92. If acceleration off the line is the reason for the 3.92 and not towing or wanting to put on 35s, get a pedal commander or similar.

You should be able to Sold Order Protect any incentives at time of order (cash back and financing both) and then take the better of when the truck was ordered or delivered.

    Mark Dodge Thread

My parents ordered a RAM from Mark Dodge today. I have been helping with the process and told them about MD. Took a little bit to figure out the incentives to lock in (just in case they get worse over summer like last year), but overall a very good experience. And a $2500 savings over local...
