See it constantly, and can't stand it. Just like I see people using the passing lane as their personal slow cruise lane the entire time on the highway. See it constantly, doesn't make it right.
Been using a extendable snow brush for the past 8 winters on my rams, and many vehicles/winters...
Does your truck have tow mirrors? If so, that eliminated the surround view camera until the 21 models when the tow mirrors got the surround view function as well as the power fold function. Otherwise for 2019/2020, to have power fold and surround view, you would need the standard mirrors.
Not...
Yeah it's possible it isn't allowed there? Would seem strange for a dealership to not be doing it at this point, not that I agree with it but I haven't heard of any dealerships not charging a processing fee. I don't hear too much about west coast dealerships though so maybe that just isn't a...
It's also super helpful for getting in and out of a truck vs the regular tailgate, even if you have the step. I don't have the step and don't find it necessary at all with the MFT tailgate, I can run up into the bed with a short hop up onto the bumper step if I have to. Couldn't do that with any...
They all have a processing fee, it's just a matter of if it's around $2-300 or $900+ like koons is by the sounds of it. What's it for? Dealer profit I'm assuming.
The other part is way more shady to me, double dipping the destination fee ($1695) that is already on the window sticker. That is a...
Interesting, I don't have experience with these mirrors in other vehicles that I've driven but I've loved mine in my ram. I haven't had any issues with the display or field of view being an issue and have found it much more preferable to the regular mirror (I have never flipped it back to...
That answers your question, no you can't trust him if he's claiming that. If he's claiming that he's clearly either lying or has no idea what he's talking about (shocking).
Not saying you can't trust any dealers out there, I trusted Aaron at Mark Dodge and his information always proved to be...
Totally agree, wish they left them where they were on the 4th gens. At least that way you had the option to debadge if you didn't like the look of them, the ones in the hood don't leave any easy options to get rid of them.
Seems like GM started this trend back with the duramax in the mid 2000s...
Yep, and considering they made the classic along with the 5th gen for 2019-2021 (and I did hear someone say they ordered a 22 classic recently) this is going to be a problem for a LOT of people. I can't imagine the amount of wrong parts people are buying for these things that aren't car people...
I'm pretty sure they all had built in badges, I remember when the 19 first came out how much a lot of people (myself included) hated them. I would trade for the sport hood just for that one aspect.
Haha yeah that's a bit of a short sighted statement, I love corvettes as much as anyone else and would love to have one. However, between our weather and quality (or lack of) of the roads, a corvette would be a horrible choice for a daily driver around here.
Oh that and needing room for more...
That wasn't my experience (or others I've seen on here). I was able to track mine all the way up to the northeast without having any issue like you are describing.
I'm sure it's on the move, not sure where you are located but my truck got to me in upstate NY in about 2.5 days from MD. Hope...
Surprised at the lack of snow pictures, how about something funny seen from your ram. For example, I spotted our local Clark Griswold the other day while at a red light:
Didn't end up getting anything for accumulation, just enough to be a pain in the ***:
Surely someone else here got some better snow yesterday than that, at least from what I was seeing in some of the college football games I was watching.
Super weak but we just haven't had any real snow yet, but I just took this 5 minutes ago:
This was our first real good snowfall last year in mid December, for some more respectable snow pictures:
Did the same thing from around the start of covid, could have had my usual setup of buying used with around 15-20k miles, could have bought for around $45k. By the time I ordered last March the prices for equivalent rams went up to mid to high 50s. At that point I could no longer justify that...
I don't even remember it being optional on 2019, last year I ever saw a limited without air ride was the 4th gen 2018. I looked at lots of 2019 limiteds and never saw one without air ride in U.S. spec but I surely didn't look at every last limited out there. If I was able to find one without it...
Isn't the air ride delete only an option in Canada? I've never seen a U.S. 5th gen limited without the air suspension and have never seen the option to delete it on our build sites, one of the reasons I went with the longhorn to still get that level of luxury but get the standard suspension...
