Tons of salt up here as well, I did the same thing as you today since it finally warmed up. Until that point I was rocking a beautiful nautical looking two tone with my patriot blue on top and completely salty lower. Nice to get it clean before the next cold front comes in.
Yep it's good to have comprehensive coverage for that, from my time working in insurance 10 years ago I remember it specifically covering "any act of nature" amongst other things.
When I used to take my old car on/off the road each year for winter (before getting classic car specific insurance)...
Haha have to agree, it looks nice but when I first saw the press release for it my first thought was "somebody bought an $8 can of plastidip and hit the badges."
That's a good idea, I may put one of those on my passenger side. I've always used my drivers side for a pair of binoculars that fit in there perfectly.
People like me most likely, who don't plan to keep the vehicle more than 3-4 years but do fully intend on taking advantage of having the truck completely comfortable to get into in either the summer or winter.
Check those idle hours when buying used, mine are always very high when I trade in.
They've all done fine, all of my rams have had 3.92 gears but of more relevance here, also with the anti spin, and with either bfg ko2s or falken wildpeak at3s. No pictures of my 2011 in snow surprisingly but have some of my others:
Also got to experience that Southern and Texas winter...
Just to correct this to avoid confusion, I believe you meant to type big horn there. Longhorn is the upper trim level with the Limited.
Thanks for the other info though, I couldn't remember the specifics to the Canadian sport model.
Yeah I'm with ya there, I've had the rear end slip out thousands of times going over 25 mph, lots of times over 55 mph (on a 800 mile day trip from College Station to Nashville last February during the ice and snow storms). Just counter steer and keep it going steady, it's really not difficult...
It's simply the "sport" trim alone that is unique to Canada I believe. As in ram sport as oppose to ram big horn sport or laramie sport etc... In the U.S. now sport is just a package to add onto an existing trim level, rather than a trim level itself.
We used to have just the sport trim in the...
Plus isn't koons one of the dealers with a high doc fee and double dipping on destination charge? If so, add about $2600 in there. I'd definitely ask your pushy salesman for any fees the dealership has, and in writing. Best to communicate via email or text to keep everything on the record...
Yeah I did really like that feature about the cover you were trying in terms of the flexibility in seating back there for passengers. Generally we either don't have a backseat passenger, or it's our daughter and we have a way of adjusting the cover to allow her to have the passenger side rear...
Looks like a nice cover, I really like the access to the floor storage and the rest of the versatility it offers. Are you going to add anything to cover the back of the front seats? Be sure to post a picture during testing!
We went the cheaper route but always leave the seats up due to our dog...
Love the brown interior, especially against a good exterior color like the patriot blue or delmonico red. Might be slightly biased based on my last 2 rams though:
Got to love those chevelles, 70 chevelle was my first favorite muscle car when I was a kid in the late 90s.
My neighbor a few doors down has a beautiful red 66 chevelle, and there's another one (blue this time) a block away from us as well. Add in my 66 Buick and we have 3 66 GMs in a block...
