I had a 65' Newport with a 383, duel 3in exhaust and two 40 series Flowmasters, that damn thing was wicked at idle and highway speeds it was ok, but 55 or slower it could get a bit much.

I did the muffler delete and left the resonators, nice overall sound without being too loud inside. Personally I would go louder, but the wife would not ride in the truck if was that loud.
My personal preference is the FlowMaster 40 it gives a nice deep sound, but it can be a bit much at...
I kinda figured Hnaford has always been kinda poo, Visalia was good when it was Surroz, then it moved close to airport, then another company bought them out and it has been a rather poop show since.
I need to look at the date on mine. Mine was replaced in June, they did tell me that it is covered for 2 years, so I didnt even bother to look that much into as if it cracks within 2 years they are on they hook.
Right? My 2020 BH stickered right @ 60k with many many options, but I got it for 51k.
I cant build my spec anymore, so in order get a 2024, I would have to be at Larimie and it would be at least 75k.... :oops:
Finally got the truck running and brought home, been a very busy few months. Going to be a fun project.
Had a devil of a time finding an intake gasket for the 440, but finally found one and painted it the 60's Mopar Green :) I know it should be Blue for 74' but the green is so much cooler!
Answer to the question of reliability, 3 years in and have no issues with my MFT.
Its a shame that its not offered on more trim levels, I guess I have a rather unicorn truck being a BH with MFT.
