I may do that, but the next dealership is about 45 min away, ugh I have used them in the past but with similar results. Nice service writers/managers but the workers they hire are just not up to the tasks or they just don't care.
The sunroof saga continues, now the passenger side has collapsed below the body line.....not even sure the sunroof frame is bolted to the body.
The dealer is still waiting on the replacement frame:confused:
So I ordered the bolts and will be removing the headliner this weekend and fixing this...
Update: now the rear portion of the sunroof has come loose and now I get to hear window buffeting while driving.
I am about to take it all apart myself and figure it out and it get done. This is just ridiculous.
I was thinking the same thing. They are going to have a different tech do the installation this time. fingers crossed!
But it does explain why it does not sit level with the roof and why the sunshade will not stay attached to the side.
Following. 2nd new window was just installed on June 13th, so I hoping to get 2 yrs out of it, hopefully, by then there will be some extended warranty on these trucks.
I totally see what you are saying, hopefully, they will pull their heads out of the ground and bring prices back to attainability and continue with improvements, the TT i6 sounds very promising.
I too am surprised they have the HD's on the older body(my understanding is the frame/chassis was...
Ok so I forgot about the large duffle bag with shoes! I could not count how many they had...every trip I go on, I have 1 maybe 2(work conference) pairs of shoes. I don't even try to understand, I just go with it.
This reminds me of a story from many years ago, we took a family trip to Vegas and...
Damn, this is gold! Sadly very accurate!
So last year we went for a whole week camping and I had to pack the back of the truck and utility trailer.....I was in disbelief with how much sh*t the Mrs needed.....
When traveling long distances I take: a breaker bar with the correct socket for the wheels, air pump, tire repair kit, jumper cables(I need to get a jumper pack), coolant, 1 qt of oil and some misc tools.
It is very annoying! I used to camp for a few days and I could pack everything in the trunk of my Valiant without issue. I would take firewood, tent, chairs and food without issue.
Now when we camp, 3 cots, 1 queen cot with air mattress, 4 large suitcases, chairs, 2 folding benches, tables...
Just did a 400-mile round trip with Skittle yesterday and averaged 19.3 mpg which I am pretty happy with considering i was driving 80 or faster. The truck was also loaded with all the camping gear, and my family has to pack the entire house for a 4 day camping trip.....
Dropped off the truck at the dealer for 3rd time on the sunroof, as the passenger side of it collapsed about 1/2 inch....so that was nice surprise while driving, I am guessing some bolts came loose? I don't know....
The new window is installed and the seats are installed, did some cleanup and fixed some potential rattles, and also got it cleaned up nicely.
The new window looks the same as the old one, so I won't hold my breath in terms of longevity, but the glass shop did a very nice job with the...
Sorry this took so long, I have been so distracted with life and the fact I have been to the dealer 3 times and now scheduled for a 4th time....
Anyhow, here are some pics of the project and yes it is Red, I feel as though the color Red has chosen me for some reason as every vehicle we seem to...
