How far into “broken in” will the fuel consumption improve? Did some interstate and some 55 mph highway riding yesterday. Definitely was a bit lower than I expected but not terrible compared to my Silverado. I plan on taking a trip to Arkansas this summer. Hoping for a tad bit better gas mileage...
Hello all! I’ve been posting for a few months now, but I finally took delivery of my 2023 1500 Rebel Night Edition. Been wanting a Ram for almost two years. Came from a 2018 Silverado LT Z71. This Rebel is incredible. On one hand I can’t wait to get it offroad. On the other I don’t wanna get it...
Beast has arrived! Here’s the only pic for now. Got dark before I got home. This was at entry/exit height. Offroad is so high lol. Getting my windows tinted in the morning. I’ll take more pics tomorrow. The wait is officially over.
My tracker has followed what others’ have done. It now shows “shipped” and ETA of 1/8 went away. Per the dealer I was at the last rail stop a few days ago. My uneducated guess is the truck got off the train and is in the holding lot in Port Allen, LA. Also find it funny the tracker still shows...
Welcome! I’m a fairly new member as well, but I’ll do my best to help.
1. You can contact your sales associate for the most up-to-date information. They’re more current than anything. For example see my above post. My SA informed me my truck is at the last rail stop and is almost delivered...
I try not to pester my sales associate more than about every other week. Well, I’m glad I did today! This also confirms what others have said about the tracker being pointless once the truck gets built. Mine still just shows built but… 😁
Ordered mine with the bed utility group and it got built with the deployable bed step. I did not order ramboxes, however. Confirmed via my build sheet.
Edit to add I have regular tailgate.
My truck has been KZ for a week and a half. What delays a truck from getting shipped? Surely they’re loading cars to Louisiana. Am I maybe buried in the backlog and they can’t get to it to ship it?
The document he (or someone else) referenced was pretty old. 2019 IRC. I’m sure everything changed after the Rona. Selfishly all I care about is my completed truck getting on a train. So as long as they’re still loading during the shutdown I’m golden 😂 but I’m sure others with trucks that...
FWIW I went creeping on the TRX forum for info because they seem to have more insiders over there. Knightmare and others came through.
Voluntary work today and tomorrow, then shutdown until 1/9. However… People will be there finishing trucks that have been sitting around waiting on parts...
Quick question: do you continue to update status codes on the spreadsheet once a truck has shipped? Ram chat refuses to give codes anymore. I’ve tried twice.
Basically… Your sheet has me in KZ will your sheet update beyond that once it moves forward?
Dang. I was hoping they were in the bases of the regular (non towing) mirrors. My carport is tight. Guess I’ll have to fold the mirrors after I’ve wiggled my way in. I can’t wait for my truck to get here!
