That would be a beautiful drive if you follow Google's directions. You'd get to see "traditional" Louisiana (aka the swamp) especially if you take I-10 through NOLA and not I-12 along the Northshore. Just don't stop anywhere in NOLA.... You'd cross a couple of the longest bridges in the world...

I'm so incredibly glad I changed my mind at the last minute and went blue instead of granite. I'd probably still be waiting like LGB24. My Silverado was Flame Red which is the only reason I went with something other than red.

That’s the main reason I did them. When we get those real bad fogs off the Gulf of Mexico or torrential downpours, I wanted something useful out of my fog lights. So yellow it is.

Haven’t seen any Hydro blue with yellow fog covers. Also plan to add amber lights to the grille.

That was the worst part of the wait for me. The truck being built but going in storage waiting on the cluster. Those couple weeks were worse than waiting on production to start for 3 months.

Installed the Lamin-x yellow foglight covers. Look great!

Got out the quick detailer and knocked off the dust and scum from the last few weeks. And greased up the tires.

I was thinking the opposite. They’re building / built more expensive trims like Limited and Rebel before the lower trims. My Rebel is 501 confirmed 8/25 and it was built in December.

I definitely would prefer accordion-style verses roll-up for the convenience factor, but I don't know if it's $20+ more convenient. Hm. Thanks for the input everyone. I'll continue to stew it over.

It doesn’t fold? So it’s like permanently in that big open shape? That seems inconvenient.

Are any of these sturdy and folding, not thin and floppy? I had the GM made one specific to my Silverado and I loved it. Not trying to spend a fortune but I don’t wanna get the Heatshield one if it’s thin and floppy like the ones at autozone.

Mine maid it from SHAP to Louisiana in about a week. ETA changed from 1/8 to TBD. It arrived 1/3.

I wish it was more subtle. My wife’s Nissan beeps the same electronic beep used for locking and unlocking. I realize our Rams don’t beep. But maybe three short staccato honks would be better than full honks.

Many of us in south Louisiana flee the state for Mardi Gras. This year my wife and I are going to Disney. 😂

Nope. Mine is just the plastic. I’m glad to have a driver’s grab handle. My Silverado didn’t. 🙄
