Well my truck is barely two months I sure hope I haven’t lost it 😂
I’ll scope out the manual this evening. I’d rather put the fuse tap on an otherwise unused circuit. But only if it’s always on with ignition.
Question: is the external F44 (trailer camera) an ignition-on fuse? Or does it only get power when a camera is installed? Thinking of using that for my TRX grille lights.
Mine updated to shipped but never gave an ETA. IIRC the dealer gave me the ETA and the truck beat it by almost a week. This is what the tracker looked like up until and after delivery. Also note it had the color of my truck wrong the whole time lol
Don’t have the tracking specifics but my FIL ordered a Laramie midnight edition in late September / early October, and he didn’t get it until last week. 5.7 etorque 4x4, 12” screen and H/K stereo, leather, black paint. So we’ve got 2023s side by side. Once the pollen goes away I’ll have to take...
FWIW my tracker quit updating period when mine shipped. It last said “your truck is preparing to head to your dealer” or something along those lines. And the Ram app didn’t track it either. Stay on the dealer they can update you.
The Chevy online builder straight up tells you certain options aren’t available. For a while they were building trucks without steering wheel lock, heated anything, etc. I’ll give Ram this…. If it’s an option they’ll build it. It may take forever but they build it how you want it. Which is...
Uneducated opinion, but I think it has more to do with your offloading railyard and filling a transport. I got lucky because my offloading railyard is 45 minutes away, and I’m between the railyard and Mark Dodge 😂
Man hate that you’re still waiting. I ordered a week before you and I’ve had my truck a month and a half.
Interested in seeing your downgrade project. I’d never get rid of my digital dash but I bet it’ll be a cool project. Hopefully leading to someone else’s cool project.
My understanding is they get offloaded from the train in Port Allen. There’s a big offloading facility there. I imagine they go Dallas to Port Allen on the UP.
Man that’s almost exactly how I felt. Never have I ever ordered a vehicle or purchased something so nice. My two precious trucks were a 1980 C10 that my dad bought new in April of 1980 (7.5 years before my birth), and a 2018 Silverado LT Z71 which seems not quite as nice as a Big Horn now that...
I have a question. Do Rebels (non-GT) have a different muffler than Big Horns or other trims? My Rebel has a much more pronounced exhaust tone than my FIL’s Big Horn. Same engine (5.7 etorque). His is a 2020.
I have to say one of the few gripes I have with my 2023 is how “light” the rear doors are. When I close them it sounds like they’re loose and falling apart but I don’t feel any wiggles on them. I’m sure they’re fine for me since I don’t work my truck that much. Just got kinda used to the...
