Seems from reading online that 2024 is another carryover MY with 2025 being the refresh. While I have zero complaints with my 2023, I do find it curious that they’re gonna continue to plug along without a refresh when all the other half tons have been refreshed / redone.
I've said before that my 2023 Rebel is noticeably louder than my FIL's 19 or 21 Bighorns were. I find it is also louder than the 2021 Rebel I test drove. I wonder if there was a parts issue / mixup / shortage and they threw on GT mufflers to some early 2023s.
Waiting to see if anybody with a 2023 and the digital dash successfully updates their maps. I'm very leery about trying to update when it seems someone above here in the thread bricked their TOMTOM...
How did the ride quality change when you went to the 285/75? Looks like that’s an E rated tire compared to the D rated stock tires. I really like the look of the 285/75 as it fills the wheel well better, and it’s a little taller.
That’s the point I was making. Optioned with what I wanted my Rebel is basically the same as if I got a Limited optioned like I wanted. I wanted the offroad capability instead of a bedazzled shift knob or a sunroof.
Yeah I gotta say Ram is pretty slick. It doesn’t matter if it’s a Laramie or a Rebel or a longhorn or a limited. If you equip it the same it costs the same. I could’ve got a limited with the same features as my Rebel (minus the offroad goodies) for a similar price. I just like the looks and...
Learned something neat with the digital cluster. When you hit low fuel, it pops up an alert, lights a huge “normal” fuel light, and it changes the colors of the fuel gauge.
The bed step is also included and that’s the most useful feature for me. I’ve used the rails with adjustable tie-down points once. I use the bed step once a week at least.
I'm getting 13-14 around town. I've gotten 15-16 mostly highway. FWIW I have less than 2000 miles on my truck, so I'm hoping it goes up 1-2 MPGs with time. 5.7 Hemi etorque.
I know they're super "played out" as the kids like to say, but I've always liked the RBP 64R "Widow" wheels. I'd love to see those on somebody's Rebel, especially the milled version.
I passed on the Ramboxes because all of my loose junk fits in the in-floor storage or under the rear seat. If I was going to put speakers under the rear seat, I would have absolutely gone with Ramboxes. I have an approximately 8" x 14" ratchet set, emergency kit, ratchet straps, tow rope, and...
