    Bilstein 5100 measurements

Update- so about 2 weeks ago I noticed the truck was sagging a little. I re-measured and the truck is exactly half an inch lower in the back. The day I installed the Eibach rear coils, it was dead nuts level which gave me the extra inch I needed and was super happy with the ride and the fact...

    Bilstein 5100 measurements

Its great. And it didn't require any trimming if you didn't mind slight rub on the plastic fender spat at full lock. All I did was cut the spat a little bit right in the middle of the hole for the Christmas tree clip and now I have zero rub

35s and a level, yes it works!

I appreciate that! I was going to go with 18x10 fuel rebels but I had this exact setup on my 4th gen and I loved it so much, I had to do it again

35s and a level, yes it works!

Heck yeah! To me the quad cab trucks look more proportional and much more useful for those home depot runs 😉. I ordered this truck with a quad and everyone thinks im nuts 🤣 but I always keep the rear seat flipped up so I have no use for a bigger back seat! Hope this helps you envision!

Sheesh, looking under there, you'd never believe a 35 would fit. Glad it works though

35s and a level, yes it works!

So I understand there are thousands of posts about what fits and what hits but I wanted to share my setup and clear up some controversy. My suspension setup for the front. Bilstein 5100s set to max height (2.6"). I gained nearly 3" of total lift in the front and after 3 weeks, they only...

    Bilstein 5100 measurements

Ahh okay thanks for the research! So sounds like it's a use at your own risk type of deal and doesn't actually affect the warranty of their coils

    Bilstein 5100 measurements

I didn't say I was going to use them for the 1" of lift. I said I want to add them for the extra inch of lift I added. Maybe it was confusing how I worded it

    Bilstein 5100 measurements

I don't need extra lift, I already have the taller coils. But I want to install the shocks for the added taller coil

    Bilstein 5100 measurements

Hmmm, that's strange. I did see that but the shock shouldn't affect the coil. I'm going to put the bilstein shocks in the rear just for the added 1" of height. I feel like the shocks would fail before the springs would! If the coil breaks, I don't think it would have been because the eibach...

    Bilstein 5100 measurements

Here is an update, finally received and installed the eibach 1" taller rear springs. Truck sits perfectly level now! From the top of the wheel to the fender is exactly 14" in the front and back! These springs are beefy! And soak up bumper 80% better than the factory coils
