I have the 3.92 and I really didn't notice much between the 3.21 that I had as a rental and mine. I will say that it tows A LOT better. Less downshifts, and more torque speeding up on the highway.
I live in Central MO and I used to have a Ridgeline. When we had our large snow storm this past winter, it did just fine. It slipped a few times on huge hills because it had highway tires. I'm curious how the Bridgestone tires are going to do. I plan to only use 2wd unless we get a lot of snow...
I had this issue, too. It did it one time, and it was when the SXM was what was on when the truck shut off. If I turned off the radio and turned it back on, I could switch to FM and it was fine. After that, it's not done it since.
I have about 1700 miles on my 2020 Ram. I towed a trailer about 200 miles the other day and when I arrived at my destination, I walked around the front of the truck to do a "check" for fluid leaks, etc. When I walked past the passenger wheel, I smelled what I thought was grease (like Moly or...
If you physically don't have the fob, no you cannot start it. If the fob is dead, you can touch it to the start button and it will send just enough power to power the RFID chip to let the truck start.
Yay! Hopefully they cleaned out the rest of the water, and dried out the carpet too! I would have thought they would have figured that out by 7-29-19 (my build date) and had it fixed.
I agree with this statement. I had a leak and it took me showing them where it was leaking for them to figure it out and fix it. I also brought the STAR case to their attention which led them to fix it. Sometimes you gotta hold their hand. It sends a powerful message if you show them the problem...
They dried it out, there was no sign of mold. They had it tested. It was clean. I accepted that, as I didn't want them to rip apart the interior for no reason. I'm pretty sure I caught it fast enough. They do have it documented though, in case it needs to be replaced later, they will.
Just got a call from my dealer - they took the interior out and there was nothing leaking. There was a lot of water in the rear of the truck, and they think it was residual from the front leak.... we shall see. They dried it out (they said they did that the first time) and we shall see.
If I understand the "pedal commander" and other plug-and-play pedal devices correctly, all they do is just fool the computer into thinking you're slamming the gas instead of just easing into it. For example, normal take off is about 30% throttle. The pedal commander, et al., basically tell the...
Yeah, there was a decent amount coming in mine too, but it makes more sense to me that the water is coming in from the rear. I guess you would have to have seen my truck to understand what I mean. Mine is back at the dealer, and they have had a couple more pop up that were leaking. So this issue...
I don't know if it's a good idea to drill a hole and put a drain in. Things will come in that shouldn't be getting in. My A-pillar leak was fixed, but I think my leak was caused by whatever is leaking in the rear this whole time. There was too much water for it to be coming from that little...
I do have the sunroof and the drain grommets are properly inserted. The service guy said that they fixed that issue for the 2020 year trucks. They’re tight in there. I’ll have to see if the back wall was wet. I just felt by the storage bin and my hand was submerged in water.
