my 2020 Big Horn CC 4x4 on the scale weighs 5600LBS, minus 285 for me, minus a smidge for my wife, it came down to the truck weighing like 5200 and some change total truck weight.
Very disheartening to read this. At least the dealer is taking ownership and replacing the engine. My dealerships around me would spend their time trying to blame me for something. While it does suck that you have to go through this, it will get fixed and you'll be good to go soon!
On another...
My wife negotiates my deals. She's more vicious than me, because I'm the one drooling over the new car... she keeps a stern face because she truly doesn't want me to get the car lol. Same when we are getting her a car. I negotiate.
Do you have an iPhone by chance? I have this issue, too. But it's my iPhone and does it when I'm not on uConnect as well. Same as my father, who has a Chrysler van. It does the same for him, and it's his phone.
I don't think you can turn that feature off. I know when I open the driver's door, I can hear the defrost on full blast, but it immediately shuts off the climate when I open the door, and goes to what I had set prior to exiting the truck.
the way I understand it, the climate control will open and close the blend door as necessary to reach the desired temp in the cabin. So if it's 10 degrees outside, adn you have it set to 70* on the climate, it's going to blast full heat until it gets close to that temp inside, and then slowly...
This went away after a few car washes. I think I ran over something in the road that caused the smell, because the dealer did not see anything leaking, and did not find anything out of the ordinary. But I no longer smell it.
So turns out this is a feature of the truck that "regulates" the inside temperature. There have been times that they both have equal air flow and other times the passenger side will be a wimp. A non-issue for now.
I noticed this happening to me at the gas stations that didn't have completely level parking lots. The truck would tilt a bit to the right, making the "check valve" on the filler nozzle touch the filler neck on the tank. I had to hold it the whole time. Other than that, I haven't noticed any...
Isn't there an option to make this work that way in uconnect? I think you can set it to unlock all doors in park. I particularly like this so that my kids won't jump out, or if someone bad walks up to the truck they can't open the door when I put it in park.
Your bearing caps and yoke look just like mine. I don't think it's an issue, as the metal was most likely bare metal when it left the factory. I wouldn't be concerned.
