I love reading 2wd owners justify and defend the lack of a need for 4WD. They always start with the nascar theory, “it’s the driver not the truck”!....lol
there’s zero comparison between 2wd and 4 wd as far as capability goes. Then there’s the in icy conditions 4WD doesn’t help at...
Never owned a 2wd truck and have never understood why anyone would buy one. A front wheel drive car has better traction that a rear wheel drive truck. Snow, ice, mud, sand, wet roads, boat ramps, etc....2 wd trucks are horrible for traction! A tip....If you have one you need to put 400 + Lbs of...
My radio cratered after the update in July and It took 18 weeks for me to get mine replaced on a 3 month old truck. Fortunately I have never had the glitches again since replacement last month. I dealt with the problem nearly every day for 4 1/2 months, man was I pissed. When STAR told me I had...
IMHO it’s all about cost reduction to the consumer. In 2019 Ram had some amazing deals and those discounted prices really helped their sales #’s. Especially where Ford was really not offering very many deals. Obviously in a pandemic year with limited supply the deals were not as good. I picked...
If anyone here really thinks a big horn whatever model can carry more than a Laramie whatever model your crazy. Put some LT tires on whichever truck and move along. I’ve owned both models and there is zero reasoning behind those stickers in the door jambs. What? Some fender flares, a few more...
Man I’ve never found a fix for this issue other than slowing down, riding the shoulder with one tire, etc. sometimes having 300-400 lbs in the bed makes it better. A pic for reference
Pickups ride like crap on washboard gravel roads, really no way around it. There’s no weight in the *** end of pick up trucks. I spend a lot of time on gravel roads that have holes and washboard in them and you really just have to deal with it. Sounds like your air pressure is fine And it s not...
I owned a 2019 and now a 2020 and both were/ are plagued with poor AC, 50 deg AC is all you get. They both blew/blow about 12-14 deg warmer than the other two vehicles I own.
I didn’t run 55 in the rear of my Cummins powered 2500 unless I was towing or carrying something heavy. On both my previous 2500’s I ran 50 in the front and 45 in the rear, this truck is nowhere near as heavy as the 2500 and running the same size tires. IME 50 in the front and 55 in the rear...
I’ve got the same size and load tire as the rebels do and there is no way I would drive around with the recommended pressure, it’s way too much. I run 45 front and 42 rear and it’s perfect. 50-55 is retarded for an empty truck not hauling or towing anything.
Im not sure that’s the dealerships fault, they shouldn’t have to remove that to swap springs. Disconnect caliper...yes but rotor and hub no. I didn’t when I did mine. Makes me want to pull my drivers side tire and check mine.
It’s so freaking pathetic that an automaker can advertise all this great new tech that’s in these new trucks but the coordination to fix it when something goes wrong is a circus. Almost every Ram commercial shows a clip of the 12” radio as their starship technology and to think there are so many...
I have to keep the rear back up sensor off because of the grade of my driveway. I usually have it off all the time, been that way for 10,000 miles. I turn my front one off too when it snows a bunch just because it gets wonky. Some of these tech related advancements are great for some people but...
