That’s exactly how I feel, I stick to silvers and greys, no dark colors, nothing that will show swirl marks, and white trucks always make me think of a company or fleet trucks. The paint has gotten so bad/thin on American vehicles that scratches are inevitable!
1. Wrong truck to tow 10,000 lbs safely!
2. I’ll never own a black truck again in my life!
3. Yes a lift and bigger tires is going to make heavy towing harder on the truck. When I say heavy I don’t mean 10,000 lbs, revert back to answer #1!
Members have to remember that everyone on here lives in different places with different topography as well as urban to rural locations. While some members putt their way from street light to street light and blvd to blvd, others leave their homes and drive several miles at 55 mph on a two lane...
It would effectively do the same thing it does to the 3.92 equipped trucks, lower your final gear ratio, which I think would further rob power from your truck. The 3.21’s usually get better mileage than the 3.92’s simply because they run lower RPMS at highway speeds. When I had my bighorn going...
Not always, an increase from a factory 31.9” tire like the 275/55/20 that rams come with to a 275/60/20 33” tire has the same contact patch, weighs nearly the same and is just over an 1” taller. I believe this would improve the fuel mileage on stock rams just by changing the final gear ratio...
I think 3.92’s with the little tires these trucks come with is a big part of the problem. I would bet by switching to a slightly taller tire (in the same load class) would yield better fuel mileage. It would effectively change the gearing to a more fuel mileage happy ratio. I could easily get...
We’re supposed to get some massive snow storm in the next 3 days so it will be fun to see how much better they perform than my previous tires. They are damn sure a lot more aggressive tread than the Wildpeaks or Coopers.
Man some of you sure get giddy over some silly stuff. It’s not like our trucks are rock crawlers and it really matters to know what degree of pitch or roll you are achieving.....geez
I just got a set of these installed today, so far so good, only about 100 miles on them. I’ve been through Falken Wildpeaks and Cooper AT3 XLT‘s on my 2019 and 2020 1500’s and this time decided to get something a little more aggressive, between winter roads and my hunting and fishing excursions...
No offense but that is about the dumbest thing ive ever read. If you need 4wd or AWD ......you need 4 wd Or AWD..I drive 47 miles to work in 4wd , not because of inflated risk or courage but because I need it. I’m not going to risk having the *** end slipping around on a grade and hoping my...
All the analogies in the word are irrelevant, 4 wd is way better than 2 Wd....period! End of discussion! Unless of course you only chase groceries in the concrete jungles of America In the Southern Hemisphere.
