    @HSKR R/T My spare is -4% smaller than the tires on the truck (31.5 vs. 32.8). Is that too much of a difference?

    I just crawled under my ‘22 Limited to look at the spare. The tire is 245-70R18 and is and appears to be of a lesser quality than what came on the truck. I upgraded my tires to 305/45R22 so my spare is -4% smaller that these tires.

    So on my ‘22 Limited I have 22” wheels and the “donut” is 18”. Would I be better off getting a 20” steel rim and put a 275/65R20 used tire on it for my spare?

    I immediately put Toyo Open Country A/T III 305/45R22 on my Limited to get better traction and try and protect my rims when driving on gravel forest roads when mountain biking.

    I put 305/22R45 Toyo Open Country ATII on my ‘22 Limited which makes it looks a bit more aggressive but still drives very smooth on the road.

    I immediately upgraded my stock 285/45R22 tires to 305/45R22 Toyo Open Country AT II when I got my Limited with no rubbing or other issues.

    Once I clear the screen on my ‘22 Limited, the large warning goes away and just the small one stays on. I have driven on highways as well.
