Lucky for me they are offering 0% for 72 and 2250 in rebates for the big horn Crew cabs. It expires Jan 3rd so now the rush is on for them to actually get my built truck to the lot.
Before you cancel your order contact ram chat tomorrow and they will tell you all parts are gathered and it's sequenced for production which would confirm you're D1. From then just wait for a build sheet.
At the end of the day it's a mass produced product so it'd be impossible to not have random failures. 21k miles is better than 61k miles imo. Glad you got it taken care of.
Reserve the tundra for 500, if you like it then buy it. If not try to get your 500 back but I wouldn't write off the ram in the meantime. First year for new gen truck might be a headache also. Just saw fastlane truck do a mpg test on a new Tundra and it got 18mpg hwy.
They are limiting those options on the big horn due to supply issues. You can likely add the premium light group down the road but it'll cost a good bit more than the 995 option. Blind spot would be more of a hassle.
Looks like we ordered similar trucks. I'm hoping to see a BS this week since estimated ship date on my POC says 12/3(figuring that's when I'll see the BS). I'll post plenty of pics when I get it.
Towing 5600lbs occasionally I'm not sure I'd sacrifice the ride comfort of the 1500 to go to a gas 2500. Surely it would tow better but that's about it. What gears do you have?
I just find it odd they are pulling it from off road suited packages. Like who wants to trail ride in a 60k dollar truck and have to stop and get out to fold in the mirrors on trails? If the truck has ORG it should have power fold mirrors.
