I think all sunroofs suck. Avoiding one was a big reason I wanted to custom order. Between the road noise, leaky cabins and eventual squeaks and pops that will come with body flex with anyone that drive's their truck like a truck off-road, I prefer to take a hard pass on them these days. They're...
I dunno man, the number of 3.92's posting about 12-14mpg is pretty high and I rolled home from Louisiana getting a lot more than that with under 1K on the odo. 😛
And that's after idling for 10 minutes in a drive thru waiting for my Americano. Thank you, eTorque! 😛
I do agree that it's silly for anyone to find these trucks fast. They have a torque, and torque makes things feel quick, but they are what they are. They're bricks on wheels with above average acceleration with either gear set. Average is still slow and so is above average. That said, I drive...
I wouldn't bank on getting it earlier just because you order earlier. I was in Mark Dodge's FIRST group of 2022 orders and I've had mine less than a week.
So I would count out the bonus cash. Confirm with MD that all of those incentives will apply to you (if they can even tell). I had some that the incentive line said I qualified for but I didn't after all. It's your call, but Ram Truck Month always has the best incentives. I'm a little bummed out...
I'm just thinking that non-ethanol is the smarter choice for those of us that don't drive much. I've got a 33 gallon tank. I'm gonna drive this thing once a week for like 30 miles worth of driving. I mean, I'm probably looking at 450-500 miles per tank with a fair amount of in town driving. A...
Oh, if I had planned on any towing at all I'd have done 3.92s. I'll have a small 4 wheeler in the back from time to time and I might have a few 3000-4000lb tows but that's about it. My max tow is 7831. I can't imagine needing to do more than 5500. I'm just playing my most use case.
So what are potential issues with non-ethanol? I have a Murphy right down the road but I've always avoided it because I assume it isn't top tier. I started doing some research on it but didn't get very far. Busy day.
Aaron mentioned that they are currently waiting on 1000 sold truck orders to be built out right now. Needless to say, bthere could be a delay on their response 😝
I think the 20-21mpg is pretty good for my 3.21's considering all I have on my Limited and I think it has plenty of power too. No regrets and that's the fun of choices. We'll see what mileage might look like once it gets some miles on it but at the end of the day it's a truck.
Maybe his tires suck? In all "seriousness" for a second, I'm totally happy with the 3.21. I think the truck has plenty of power, especially considering that I drive not in a hurry everywhere I go. Now, if I was doing significant towing I'd have a different opinion, but just driving the truck day...
Mine is only so high because I ordered in June and I just took delivery Monday. I was price protected through all of the MSRP increases and then on top of that I had $2500 in rebates. If it had been delivered next month I would have gotten an even better deal "on paper". I also paid cash and...
No, that's the negotiated deal on the truck itself with MD fees which are Doc, Temp Tag and Notary. My original MSRP was 74K but it's done nothing but go up since I ordered last June
