But, yes, you can place a film over the plates (doesn't show as nasty as those plastic covers) ..
Had one at work not long ago .. the entire console was ripped apart on a Caravan. Wires and parts everywhere. Customer stated the vehicle wouldn't start.
Inserted key and rotated -- nothing - entire vehicle was dead.
Looked over to the left of the steering wheel and saw a pretty red PUSH TO...
45 mins of that was waiting for a tech to get the time to get your rig into his/her bay.
5 mins to swap them out.
10 mins to update the virtual paperwork to indicate the recall was completed.

My 1500 doesn't have the proper BOLT place - not sure if the REBEL does -- we didn't have one for me to look at and it was raining out.
was def. fun crawling around under it and looking inside and hearing it roar.
we also had to do the training on it -- expect longer oil change times compared to the 1500
yeah like if mine sits SAT and SUN and then I try on MON -- no go (I just figured it was the DT TAZER).

I went hard-core and used 3/4" plywood and an old cover from my Silverado 2500HD (the leather) and made one for my RAMBOX that fits inside between them .. now it is totally flush instead of sticking up above the bed. Much Nicer when it is installed.

I tried my darndest to get mine to interfere and was never able to .. I have the adjustable pedals and went full range up and down and forced the pedal to the floor. I never got it to interfere -- UNTIL I saw a vehicle which placed these on top of the carpeted floor mats -- which the warning...
