They have to be valved different, at least in the front since it's a preload style lift. You see everyone complaining about the ride quality with a 2" preload spacer on OEM shocks, which is because they are not valved for the extra spring rate. The fox shocks are valved to handle that preload...
I think there was some misinformation about a new kit, or even an AB kit as all 4 dealers in Orlando had no AB part number. They did confirm the newest kits are shipping with the additional spacer, so that’s cool.
Wow!! That explains why it looks so level too, probably a 4” lift up front!
I wouldn’t be concerned, i would just request them to leave the spring out of the truck for an extra hour or two to let it come back to full form.

I was told by my dealer that the warranty on the parts stays, however i am on the hook for the “labor warranty” which i was ok with to save 800 bucks on install.
Here is a fox assembly compared to a stock assembly. Notice how the difference in the spacing of the coil is preloaded, now think of having a 1” taller spring preloaded in there, it would be stuffed!

Yep, I’ve had it for about a month now. There really should be no issues with a 1/2” spacer, as it doesn’t add a ton of length to the assembly since it’s only actually 3/8” worth of spacer to achieve 1/2”
