It looks like a lot of dealers are now offering custom priority ordering. Not just Ram, Ford and GM are doing the same thing. I think it's a bunch of BS because they have nothing much on the lots. They are making people think that they can walk in and place an order and get their vehicle ahead...

Thanks. But I am not "banking" on the dates. Just some light at the end of the tunnel. My dealer does not have the certificate of origin yet. They get that by mail so I can't do the paperwork until they have that. I hope that your truck will show up soon.

AI spoke with my dealer and ram chat today. My truck went on the train at 10:15 this morning. Estimated delivery date is between 10/25 and 11/06. We will see how this part goes. Thanks Eighty and Triple_B for all your hard work. We get better information here than we do from Ram and the dealers.

I texted the salesman and said I see that we have a window sticker. After about an hour he got back to me and sent me that it is in shipping but we have no "shipping date" yet.

Nope the two dealers never had that on their web site before. It's new. It maybe a way for them to get people into the dealer to order vehicles but hell do they all really get priority? I mean really how?

Jeez man that all sucks. Having to change your order just because they can't build the truck you ordered originally. Plus the price increases from the factory is just another Cluster****.

Thanks. I am not sure if the original POC is price protected or not. I will find out more when we have a ship date. Not to much I can do as I want and need the truck. Just means I may need to put more down?

My truck looks to have gone up by $2470 from my original POC. I figured the price would go up. Not sure what the bottom line will be as my dealer will not talk pricing until the truck is on the way.

I was just looking at my dealer web site and they now are offering custom ordering with express. I have no idea what that all means but if dealers can't place orders then why would they be now offering custom ordering?

I just got an email from Jeff at customer care that my truck is in the shipping stage with no delivery date yet. I was on line with Ram chat when the email came in. Cheryl told me the same thing in the shipment stage with no delivery date.

Thanks Triple_B this is good news. The price for the level 1 went up by 1K. As it includes the Tech package in the level 1 I expected an up charge.

I ordered the level 1 on my Limited and the build sheet shows the RV digital mirror and HUD. But I have seen some build sheets that had the same level 1 that do not so I guess it's a crap shoot?

It maybe the ram boxes that is holding the other truck up. I had the MFT and BUP and my truck was built over the weekend. It's all odd there is no telling what they need to build the trucks and how they are choosing the build order.

Usually trailer tow mirrors are larger and stick out way more. Not sure I would want them unless I was going to tow something like a travel trailer. But of course it's up to you and well the manufacturer if they actually have them.
