Use the search for "air conditioning hack". There are like 42 pages, so beware, lol. The comments about the cooled seats improving were in there somewhere. The thought is that because the cabin vents are blowing like 10° lower with the hack, the ambient air that the seat blower and pad pull...
Some people have claimed that after they clamped their heater hose their seats started feeling a lot cooler. May want to look into that hack and give it a try.
Nice ingenuity bro. The 300k salaried engineers at FCA should be shaking in their boots with guys like you and kcray who had to come up with ideas to get just normal AC flow into these trucks.
It looks like it is still the engine out heater hose but he choose the location closer to the heater core and the engine "in" hose went above to help with stability.
After going through maybe a dozen visits to the dealer from everything from the screen software updates, various rattles, brake squeal and noises like a sasquatch, this is my only issue left. I've got the parts today, just a matter of doing it. 94 degrees here and my wife and daughter can't...
Yes, that was my same problem with that version. Hopefully know that you have the issue (make sure to video record it) bring it to the dealer and demand the most recent update. It's also a recall issue too.
I got the same dealer USB update last year and I think that allowed me to get the most recent update on my '19 in late winter. My fear is uconnect does the mass OTA updates by region at any given time and if you didn't have the right software at that time, then you won't get it. It would help...
If you have access to a vehicle steamer it may loosen it up so it's easier to get out. I also learned a trick from the auto fetish guy on youtube to use a dental gum stimulator tool. It has a rubber tip and it is a lot more safe than a toothpick.
This is what I did to get up to 18.45.40 and I swear that helped me put into position to finally get the most recent OTA updates. With 18.27.17 I fear I would have been stuck like others.
Maybe there is a glitch that online search does not auto turn off for some people after the uconnect trial. Heard of crazier things. A family member of mine never had her Sirius trial deactivated and she drove payment free enjoying the service for years.
I just hide FOB in a bush or tree far away enough away from the truck to find it when I return. I'm sure others are like me and we hope we remember where we put it when we return.
Bumping this. Has anyone found out why some of us have never got online search to work on the Nav app? If it's not linked to the uconnect mobile subscription and the function either works or does not work regardless of hardware or software, this continues to be a head scratcher.
