Unfortunately, until they change the material the manifolds or heads are made of . To heating/cooling cycles closer in ratio, this will continue to happen.
Maybe ceramic would help idk. At that point, might as well port them out before coating. Longevity... same who knows. Still to new
I don’t see it a bad batch. They added braces for the bolts. Fixing one issue causes another. In away I bet they are ok with it too. It would probably cost the manufacturer less to just replace cracked manifolds over adding tech hours for broken bolt extraction.
^^ 2 piece seems to be a slight issue. Same as 4th gens. The ZF 8 speed clunk is not uncommon and seems to just be dealt with. As in your case, everything and then some gets changed and still same.
It happens over time. As security said, I’d definitely contact Mishimoto first. See if they will help you out. If not, replace them with emissions/vapor approved hose.
It’s possible I’m looking at it wrong too. I’m reading it opposite. I care about low end, to me looks like the shorties hit sooner and more there then stock.
On the other side of that, stock graphs much smoother then shorties. Tuning I’m sure would clean that up. Even possibly stock tune too...
Agree, I will be putting a set on at some point. Money, just can’t push the send it button yet.
Should not hurt warranty, definitely help to some level all around. And way epa is starting to push hard. I’m concerned of going to LTs.
