Thanks. I didn’t realize there is a thread already on this issue. It does seem very similar to your experience. My dealer has my truck now but so far can’t diagnose the issue.
Somewhat random question. I looked out at my truck tonight from one story above where it’s parked. My center gauge cluster (between the tach and speedometer) is still on, but I closed and locked my truck a half-hour ago. Is there any reason that would be normal?
Wow.
So you bent a rim, got the truck’s underside dirty, and had a minor brake issue. Sounds like you sold due to buyer’s remorse more than anything Ram did.
Welcome. I also have that interior and love it so far.
The button in the center behind the left steering wheel arm will cycle through your presets. Or at least it does on mine and did on my previous Jeep.
I’d worry a little about air pressure in the cab in the event your airbags deploy. Might a sudden pressure change damage your eardrums for example? I think that’s another reason those vents exist.
I couldn’t see closely from pics others posted but I would suspect maybe those vents mount...
They probably get paid more to replace a part (more labor hours) than to simply tighten a bolt.
My truck is at 1500 miles and has the same sound. Dealer appointment scheduled for Monday. It happens very consistently so hopefully I won’t get the “we can’t reproduce it” run around.
What’s amazing is that Toyota doesn’t seem to care about Tundra sales, even though they have that plant in San Antonio dedicated to producing them. That factory must be deeply under utilized. And Nissan clearly missed the mark with the redesigned Titan.
Has anyone tried just replacing the two vents in the rear cab wall? Seems that perhaps they have a variance in how much pressure from inside the cab, or vacuum from outside the cab, it would take to open them.
In my truck I do from time to time hear a difference in road noise from the back of...
Huge benefit for me. I use sat radio a lot and I still do like to have in dash Nav for long drives and places where cell coverage is spotty. I’ve used CarPlay on long trips, say camping and to national parks. It isn’t fun when the map goes blank because you lost coverage. CarPlay takes over...
Google, Alexa, and Siri are internet-connected, meaning they send your voice recording to a remote server, which has the horsepower and history of millions of other voice requests to determine what you said, and do it accurately. Your in-dash navigation is at a huge disadvantage vs. that. I...
It depends on what your rebate structure looks like. I'd assume that without your 15k trade clouding the deal, you'd be at 47,178+15,500=62,678. So your total discount from MSRP is 69,595-62,678=6,917. I don't know your rebate structure but deduct whatever you qualify for from 6,917 to know...
I know how you feel. But I keep in mind that those deals are not always what they seem. And I also feel like nickel & dimeing the deal is sometimes myopic. An extra $1000 spread out over the years I will own the truck (at least 5) just isn't a huge impact on life and I don't think it's worth...
Yeah it seems like literally all the trucks around here have those mirrors and are black or granite. My Jeep was granite and I definitely didn’t want that again. Black doesn’t grab me either.
It wasn’t easy to search. Basically I searched a southerna nd northern zip code within SoCal on...
I didn’t really mention. And yes it was a very long post :)
Two reasons I didn’t order I guess. I sort of got into shopping for it and liked the challenge of finding what I wanted. If I didn’t find a suitable truck I would have ordered. And I also actually preferred to go out of town to...
How are you able to use it when parking forward? Mine doesn't come up when I park forward, only when I put the truck in reverse. Is there a setting somewhere?
I only tried mine a couple of times but it worked well each time. I had to be somewhat close to the spots, and have only tried it on passenger-side spots. It only backs in AFAIK, so you need to drive completely past the open spot for it to work.
