Can the seatbelt chime not be disabled like the 2019-2022 trucks? Several videos on YouTube on how to do it.
I haven’t seen a setting to disable the 3 honks if the fob leaves the vehicle and all doors are closed setting on my 2022, but I do remember RamCares asking if we’d like that feature...
It is normal for many of the trucks accessories/options to not work for a some time after a dead battery or battery swap.
If you are able to jump the truck at the battery terminals it should rule out any issues with the starter or connections between the battery and the truck. I’d get the new...
Yesterday I put the new duratrac rt to work and took a 2 mile long shortcut down a gravel road with around 14” of fresh snow. It was deep enough my entire rear axle and running boards were dragging in the snow, made the whole truck work pretty good.
And last week I made a 1500km trip back home...
Ditch lights (rigid 862213) made more of a difference than a bumper mounted light bar (rigid 122313).
Living in northern Ontario moose and bears are more of an issue than deer. A majority of the vehicles in my area have some sort of light bar or ditch lights.
Yes they are not legal for use on...
Having my intercooler replaced due to oil seepage at the ends where the aluminum core connects to the plastic. (Covered under mopar extended warranty)
I figure this is due to constant abuse my truck takes from driving gravel/dirt logging roads. My truck see very little pavement unless it’s to...
The tailgate doesn’t actually have a lock, the latches are controlled electronically. I would suspect an issue with the tailgate release button, or maybe just one of those weird issue that pop up after disconnecting the battery that will fix itself overtime.
It could also be an issue with the...
I was happy with the stock duratrac tire on my rebel so I decided to give the new duratrac RT in stock size a try. So far it is working well, winter has yet to arrive so no deep snow to test in yet.
You can most definitely run a larger tire on stock suspension, and even larger if you level the...
Looks specific to the 2025+ models. When I look it up it is listed as a “mid range radar”. Definitely not present on previous years, might make it incompatible with aftermarket bumpers for the 2019-2024 trucks.
I picked up a small vial of paint from a local hobby shop that was closest to the bumper. They let me bring a few vials out to my truck to find the best match. I’ll try to get a picture of the colour when I’m back in civilization.
I’m not sure if the sellers on Amazon are getting really good at copying parts or if these are actually mopar filters being sold as aftermarket filters. Recently purchased 3 off Amazon and this is what I received.
Front sway bar bushings and end links are usually first to go, outer tie rods and ball joints after that.
My inner rear brake pads wore out at roughly 55k miles, outers on both sides and fronts looked brand new.
I do have the factory led headlights, but I have not tapped into any factory wiring for the light bar. They are direct to the battery via a relay.
Wiring the trigger wire to your high beams wouldn’t cause any significant draw as it only needs to power the relay itself and the light bar will get...
I am running a 20” light bar (122313) aswell as ditch lights (862213) made by Rigid Industries. I chose to wire them both to a separate switch so that my high beams are still usable when I am on the busier highways. I try to avoid using the light bars on roads I may encounter traffic.
You could...
Yep, this is correct.
You will need a few quarts of 75w-140 for the rear diff. No friction modifier is required in the rebel.
Front diff is 75w-85 but 75w-90 will work just fine.
Transfer case fluid is hard to locate in small volumes, so the dealer is the best option for that fluid.
I’ve replaced sway bar bushings and end links a few times on both my 2020 rebel and 2022. The last time I replaced them the clunking/rattling noise did not go away.
I am waiting on a pass through socket to arrive from Amazon to tighten the centre strut bolts slightly as they turn quite easily...
I’ve had front brake calliper brackets replaced on both my 2020 and 2022 rebels due to a clunking noise. Mechanics had to use chassis ears both times to find the problem.
Finally got some decent weather above freezing so I took a video of the play in both from cv axles. I also noticed the front diff itself moves a small amount, maybe it’s mounted in rubber bushings? Hard to tell with all the ice and snow under my truck.
Can’t post videos here, weird. Will upload...
I’ve seen lots of videos regarding this and the only fix is to replace the cv axles and stub (intermediate)shafts. I suppose the rust could eventually get bad enough that the splines rust out completely and you lose 4wd as the rusted out side would just spin.
I had a cv axle replaced on my 2020...
