Ideally I’d be working for the municipality where there is a decent pension, benefits and I am close to home. Until one of those jobs open up I plan to work at one of the many camps guiding fishermen and hunters for most of the year and then taking October-May off to do my own hunting and...
Moving full time to my house in Nakina, got an offer for our house down south we couldn’t refuse and I am ready for a change of pace anyways. Just waiting until winter is over before moving up.
I don’t think there is a way to mute a specific phone app through the uconnect system, if a social media app is opened and a .gif or something starts playing even if it doesn’t have sound it will stop whatever is playing through CarPlay.
You might be able to put the phone into silent mode, but...
Maybe you’d have better luck on the HD forums, I haven’t seen the selectable tire pressure setting on my 1500 uconnect 5 system.
I could be wrong, but the tire fill alert system resetting every ignition cycle makes sense as the tpms sensors go to sleep when the truck hasn’t been moving and...
Just filled up today at $2.149 per litre. $220.05 total.
Come April I will be putting on roughly 12000km in about 3 weeks all while towing an enclosed trailer loaded one way 1500km and back empty 1500km while I move up north. Going to be a good test of the drivetrain.
I have the ecodiesel and a light foot so maybe things are different, but I have been pretty impressed with the duratracs that came on my 2020 and 2022 rebel.
Happened to two of the lock covers on my 2020, had them replaced under warranty and one of the replacements had started doing it again before I traded in a couple months later.
I also think a few members had issues with the drain tubes not being connected properly and having leaks. If there were water present after every rainfall it would make diagnosing this a lot easier.
There is a known seam in the drivers side wheel well/cowl area that causes a wet drivers side floor. I don’t have the tsb at the moment for it, but it’s out there.
If that’s the only problem you have, you might want to try a different dealer. Sounds like the current one doesn’t know how to...
Thanks, I’ve had no issues in southern Ontario so far. 75000km on my 2020 and pushing 20000 on the 2022 already, I just want to be prepared for what winter has to offer on the north.
This forecast is a few days old, but it’s already winter up there.
For the times I’ve been up there during -20 and colder temps I had no issues with gelling or getting the engine up to temp. With the grille cover and shutters it really closes the air off to the engine bay.
For the coldest temps I figure I’ll leave the block heater on anytime the truck is...
I am in the process of moving full time to my house in northern Ontario where up until recently I’ve only spent the warmer seasons and I’m trying to make sure I am prepared for the winters to come.
My questions are in regards to the engine block heater, battery maintainer and oil pan heaters...
It’s possible to pull the fuse and run a jumper wire from a known switched fuse to the usb hub’s fuse location. You’ll have to make sure you jumper the power to the unpowered side of the circuit in tue fuse box but should work.
My usb also powers down after the truck has been shut off for a...
Hardest part is dealing with the window glass, once you remove the door panels you will see two rubber stoppers in the inner panel you can remove to access the bolts holding the glass to the actuator. Remove those and carefully roll the window all the way up and secure it with tape, you can then...
Looks like my old truck a 2020 rebel with the ecodiesel was added to this recall on October 13. I would expect my new truck to be added at some point in time once supply catches up.
You can, I decided to go a different route tho.
Also for now I do not plan on replacing the rear shocks or lifting the rear, I just want to level my truck out.
I will be installing bilstein 5100 front shocks to help level my rebel at the end of the month hopefully. I ordered them in February and just got confirmation that they are on their way to our supplier.
Sure would be nice to have the option to disable it, I always leave my truck running when tending to the bear baits back in the bush and it’s annoying.
