What did you do to your Ram today???

Wife got me a new jack for the truck for Christmas so decided to try it out: it's a BushRanger X-Jack that you can inflate while on the trail using your exhaust or air compressor. Before use, you have to inflate/deflate a few times to get it stretched out and ensure no leakage. After doing that...

    Post your Rebel pics!

Thanks! Yes, the inside pair are the Rigid 360 Series LED Spots for long distance and the outside pair are the Rigid 360 Series Driving LEDs for near distance; I still don't have the backlighting hooked up yet but on my "to do" list. I mounted everything directly to the bumper. If interested...

    Before and After

2020 Rebel 4x4 purchased new (Feb. 2020): Current condition (Dec. 2020): Already been beating it up for some off-road adventures so still not done. Never done...lol.

    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

Thank you so much for taking those and sharing! Looks like my shop was pretty close to those measurements as well so guess I will continue to use them. 👍

    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

Thanks! Well, Fabtech might claim that based on their UCA angles but I always get my front end realigned even if just using a hockey puck spacer system; as shown in my previous posts, other components are still effected. Even still, the re-alignment that was completed during the first install...

    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

So it's been sort of hit and miss on my actual lift height dimensions since I did not do a good job of recording results every time I dialed the system in some more. My shop, Desert Rat Off-Road, provided me some initial measurements that I used early on but have come to suspect their technician...

    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

Thanks! I totally understand the need for as accurate information as possible; I always try to make sure that things will fit and work as intended (with mixed results...lol). According to Fabtech, the rear spacer will retain the factory rake which makes sense if using the Dirt Logic coil-over...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Wow, first time I ever heard of that happening. Hopefully the piece didn't slam into anyone behind you!

What did you do to your Ram today???

@Bignick75...Thanks! Yes, getting the Dirt Logic coil-overs and rear shocks are overkill if you're not really four wheeling in the rough stuff much and definitely a lot more expensive. Fabtech 3″ UCA Lift with the rear Stealth Shocks is Fabtech's mid-level lift and probably a bit more...

    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

@Steelwheelz; sorry, I skipped right over this! Ride quality is pretty darn good. The Fabtech-Dirt Logic 3-inch system definitely provides the lift I wanted without going crazy in fitting +34-inch tires while keeping the center of gravity relatively low for maintaining on-road handling and...

    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

Thanks! The lights are Rigid 360 Series Spot LEDs and 360 Series Driving LEDs; I have a write up on the install in an earlier post (click link: Rigid 360 Series Install).

    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

Nope, don't mind at all especially when sharing some off-road adventures! Is that section of the Kokopelli Trail in Colorado or down at Moab? I would have to change out a few things on the Rebel (like a better suspension...lol) before I would tackle anything near that level but looks like the...

    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

Thank you! And thanks for the feedback...first real world response I received in terms of off-road durability. Due to the survey trending towards changing out the skid plate color, I was toying with the idea of maybe color-matching (similar dark grey) with a vinyl wrap before committing to any...

    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

I posted some pics previously in the build thread but probably hard to find so will repost here. Overall, I think the CVs are looking okay. I was more concerned about the stabilizer bar linkage (since the boot looked like it was slipping) but I had Desert Rat Off-road Centers take a look and...

    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

You are correct! Initially, I was very disappointed on two fronts; first, I initially felt the ride was too stiff and secondly I was highly disappointed that the Rebel did not get 2-inches of front lift as advertised. After talking with Falcon, they conceded that their website was kind of...

    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

You can keep the Fabtech Dirt Logic coil-overs as is for the 2-inches of lift (over factory Rebel). I ran the Falcon system and only netted just over an inch of actual front lift which caused me to change out to the Dirt Logic setup, but the Falcons were the best riding setup on the street...

    Desert Dawg Ram Rebel Build

Thanks for the compliment! Yeah, I explained this previously as it is somewhat confusing. Check out my Post #272 Fabtech lift results as I think it might clear some things up. The only thing I would add is I could not actually fine tune the lift side to side (in order to make the passenger side...
