Well, really like the progress on your rock sliders and I think there is a market for a quality 3-4 inch lift with performance coilovers! With the number of newer 5th Gens running around (seems like almost as many F150s), I would be first in line to purchase one!
Yeah, heard that too and have been frequently checking out their website but no news yet. I haven't called either so really don't know where they are with that project!
My problem is "patience"...or lack thereof. I have another trip planned to go to Colorado in another month and was hoping to...
Thanks! Took me a while to finish it as it was mostly grass but wanted to turn it into more a "food court" (small garden, a chicken coop for fresh eggs, and a pizza oven of course...lol) since it's right off the kitchen. But we love the pizza oven as it was hand built in Portugal and shipped...
lol...for sure, I can report that the Ram did just fine!
Seriously, use the wood for our outdoor pizza oven. Need lots of it; I have a good mix of pine, fir, birch, and juniper!
Nice, I really wanted to go with these too but decided against it in favor of wider side steps for the wife and business folks that sometimes ride in the truck. But sure wish I had these on my last mountain run. Great choice!
Edit: White Knuckle does offer a full length top plate.
@Redfour5; Great video!
I also just ordered my Vice Design hidden mount system. Like @Jerstein1, I went with the Smittybilt X20 12K as I had that winch on my 2015 Tundra build and it performed great (also lighter than the recommended Warn EVO series winches) and want to try to reuse the...
Installed the TRX red push start button. Lots of videos and threads on this but unfortunately was not as easy for me; I simply could not get my hands up under the dash to press down on the (3) tabs. I must have spent over an hour trying until I decided to just remove the radio so I could get...
I have installed them on 6 of my prior builds. Some models are harder than others, but pretty straight forward on the Ram. You can view my process in my build thread as it might be helpful. https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/desert-dawg-ram-rebel-build.20220/post-313697
When I was at the Ram dealership to pick up my new skid plate, I parked next to a 2021 Ram 1500 with a 6-inch lift. Ironically, there is hardly any inventory on the lot except for about a dozen Ram 1500s with dealer installed 4-inch and 6-inch spacer lifts. They are charging anywhere from $13K...
So per above, ordered the Vice Design hidden winch mount system:
Included are the Parking Sensors Inserts, and the Clutch and Control Box Relocation Kits. I should receive everything within the next 2 weeks!
Also, ordered the Smittybilt X2O 12K GEN2 Comp Series 12000lb Wireless Winch...
A couple of items finally arrived this week!
First, I ordered the TRX red engine start push button so hoping to have that installed very soon. I took a photo of the part number in case anyone was thinking about doing this too. I will post a final install pic.
Also, my black lower front...
Sounds like you probably do have the 2-3 inch adjustable lift version. I am looking to get a least 2.75-inches, if not closer to 3-inches, if I can retain a smooth ride using the DSC adjustments. My current Fabtech-Dirt Logic system initially gave me the full 3-inches of lift front and rear but...
A little late posting these, but the self-inflicted trail damage was more superficial than what it sounded like when I initially dropped the truck over some rock outcroppings. I am sure that replacing the AMP Power Step guard rail won't be cheap; although nothing like a real slider, it did a...
Well, no leveling kit is going to perform like this truck...lol.
So do you have the Fox Performance Series 2.5 Adjustable 2" (part no. 883-06-165) or the Adjustable 2"-3" (part no. 883-06-166)? I am hoping to get 2.5"-2..75" of front lift and dial in 2" for the rear.
That sounds great! Can't...
Okay, maybe I have been too harsh on the Fabtech ones but my reference has been when comparing to the build quality of other aftermarket versions like Total Chaos, SPC, Icon, etc. But pretty sure the Fabtech and BDS UCAs are an upgrade over the factory, not to mention a necessity at least for...
