I didn't even know that they still made Slick 50. Wow that is a blast from the past. Your biggest change that may help is your oil filter. Use the K&N Gold filter and see if that works for you like others on here have mentioned. And also, I don't think Slick 50 would void anything but...
I am a Grandpa and I love these lights and since I am getting much more lazy I like the truck changing to high beams for me. Those old floor button high beams were ridiculous, I don't miss that change!
I concur with you on this one. I got curb rash and then changed to the 305 45 22 Nitto 420V tires. With the wider stance (almost an inch) and about a half inch taller I haven't dinged the rims again since the tire sticks out more now. I like the look of the 22" more, but the 20" would work...
As far as your question of if it stops for up to 10 minutes I can say that it does if the following conditions are met.
1. The truck temperature is fully warmed up.
2. The cabin is not getting cold needing heat to meet the temperature setting, or the cabin is not too hot requiring the A/C to...
I will say that the visibility of the Adaptive LEDs is amazing and with the addition of the Tazer DT allowing Fogs to stay on with High Beams I have never had nighttime visibility as good as this truck delivers.
Of a side note, if you get and install the Tazer DT you can change the splash screen and the bootup screen to any of the other themes. Lone Star, Longhorn, Limited, Bighorn, Powerwagon, HD, etc...
Damn hackers are at it again! I recommend you take it out and connect up a battery and then attach it to a drone... It's time to mess with them for once...
Well, it is funny you should mention that. I had the crack the first time in Nov 2019, Got it replaced in Feb 2020. Cracked again in September 2020... Haven't taken it back yet as my warranty is now up with over 44K miles but the issues with my truck that are still a problem are the rear...
I tow over 9,000+LBS and I live at 6,800 Ft elevation and have been over 11,000 Ft elevation towing a few times. Gas mileage with the Hemi is certainly not great but I have been more than happy with the towing ability of the 1500 with eTorque. I will be downgrading from my Motorhome to a fifth...
I like the Nitto 420V but the mileage is kinda crappy also since my tires are already in the yellow at a little over 13 months. I do tow really heavy and have 19K on them...
I would do eTorque again for sure just for the accelleration off the line with 9,000+ Lbs in tow. I have lots of towing miles on my truck which made it a great item to have (Over 15,000). I need to find some tires that hold up to the heavy tongue weight of towing next as I almost completely...
