Good Morning All,
I have a 2019 Laramie 1500 (new body style) and am looking to replace the instrument cluster lens. The current lens appears to have spots all over it where the plastic discolored that appear to need replacement to fix. It appears I can buy just the lens, not the whole cluster...
My isn't useable for me anymore, which honestly I can say is the only vehicle I've had this way. Having had a 2018 chrysler 300 with in-glass antenna, 2015 charger with in-glass antenna, and many others with in-glass antennas this is the worst FM by far. I have about 14 stations on FM that I can...
I do not have the 12v powered controller option, didn't even realize they had one. Looking on their site it appears the only one they offer with a powered switch option is the 6 Shooter, and then you have to get a "powered dock" for it. I see they have replacement wiring for it on the website...
Interested on swapping the button myself. I found a TRX vin (1c6srfu94mn901091) but can't find anywhere online that I can find the part number for the button. I found some of the red buttons out of chargers for around $50 but guessing it will be way more with TRX.
I would also agree that the decision you made as well as DTS828 is the better one. I think the wireless is a good option based on this experience only if you really don't want to deal with pushing through the firewall grommet. The wireless is a quicker install but not much, and for the trade off...
I have the trigger 4 switch... it depends on use. I initially had some issues with the controller where it randomly turned on and off, but haven't had any for the last 4 months or so. The system overall seems built decent, though the switches feel very cheap. The switches won't light up unless...
I did update my computer for the new tire size so my speedo would be correct. I did remove my "air dam" thing from under the truck at the same time though so in all fairness that could also slightly affect it.
I do have factory LED tail lights. I can't honestly remember the exact issue, but it had something to do with the putco bar signal converter. It wasn't just a brake wire, 2 turn wires, a running wire, and backup wire. Instead it had an inline converter that was taking signal and telling it what...
Honestly a fair bit of gotchas... a decent bit of minimal voltage wires that would seem correct but ultimately not be, however if you take some time and have ok electrical skills its very doable. It took a few hours to get everything set up. 1 thing to mention however is I was unable to get the...
I am running a Putco and wired directly into the brake light instead of the tow hitch, and have no delay at all. Mine is always synchronized. It would have been delayed to the tow hitch plug, but the delay disappeared when I went to brake lights.
Here is my after and before with mine. 2019 Laramie, stock suspension. Tire wheel package on it when I got it (used) was actually really good for ride quality as well as traction. However the wheel wells always seemed a little empty and tires seemed a little too "passenger car" for the truck to...
Don't have a picture I can post right now, but put them on my 2019 Laramie with stock suspension and have had them on for 4 months or so without issue.. Trimmed the passenger wheel well plastic back a little where it will rub, very easy to do, no obvious to most it was done, and doesn't uncover...
I had a strong feeling that wasn't true. They tried explaining that the truck wouldn't recognize them once plugged back in and that the "tool" would allow it to recognize them and then they had to be calibrated to detect stuff. Thanks for confirming!
Hello Everyone,
I recently bumped my rear bumper on my Ram when backing a trailer into a drive, cut too close and scraped the trailer edge into the bumper. In doing so the bumper dented under the scratch and pushed into the rear fender. I took the truck by two well rated body shops in the area...
Just FYI this is an FCA issue. Traded my 2018 Chrysler 300S in to get my ram, and had the screen in the 300S replaced 3 times due to this exact issue. Each screen had the same issue, dealer never figured it out. Have the 12" in my 19 Ram and no issue, appears to be luck of the draw?
Just a word of experience, as I used this feature when I needed to replace brakes on my 19, getting it to release is a hassle. Engaging the feature is just as it says in the manual and simple enough. However when I got finished as hit the button to go back to normal, I had multiple service ABS...
