Considering picking up a used 3.0

I bought my 1500 September 2022 with only 11,300 miles on it. I have owned two different CTD'S and miss my 2018. The HD'S are just to tall to deal with for me anymore. But you're right, I do know what I have invested at this point in my truck. Just needed to hear another opinion. Definitely...

Considering picking up a used 3.0

That's all been rolling around in my head. My 5.7 just turned 25,000 miles and will be paid off in 3 years.

Considering picking up a used 3.0

Thanks. It seems like it's definitely had a lot of issues. The second fuel pump looks to be the HPFP recall.

Sorry as hell to hear that. My biggest fear is something happening to either of our two girls.

    Towing the new camper

Maybe the forum needs a camping thread. I've followed along with @SnowBlaZR2 and posted my towing set and some camping pictures. This thread has worked pretty well for me though. 🤷

Why does the rear of my truck hop whenever I burn out or get sideways

Um, burnouts sound cool and all, but tires are too damn expensive for this retired old fart.

    2025 towing limits

As much as the new motors intrigue me, I just think they're taking a big step backwards leaving the 5.7 and eco diesel behind. Loosing payload is huge for people that tow recreationally. Plus the fact they're pricing us retired and working normal people out.

    What else in your garage?

May I ask how your Eco diesel is holding up?

What did you do to your Ram today???

If I have the rear braking assist on, I can't back up with my trailer hitch on with out braking my neck as soon as I put it in reverse.😜

Trade up or buy out lease dilemma

This is what I'm thinking. I've thinking about trading for a left over Eco diesel. My 21' Big Horn is set up just the way I want it. I'd to go through the process all over again to get a newer truck to where mine is now. My truck is setting right at 25,000 miles and I haven't had any problems...

    First problem with 8.4

Thanks for all the help. I switched to a new cable, and that seems to have did the trick.

    First problem with 8.4

Thanks, I was kind of leaning in that direction. I also didn't think to see it the cable has come loose from the plug in.
