Dude, just trim the plastic with a dremel or razor blade. Put it at full lock, park it, and crawl underneath to see where. Only other option is to reduce tire size but truck tires ain't cheap...
I'm looking at truck wheels and so many of the wheels these days have the ugly fake beadlock look and are black. I personally can't stand them, and think they're overtly complicated looking. Any suggestions on clean looking, 20" wheels in a brushed aluminum or chrome? Currently looking at Black...
I am having this same issue, finally got to the point where I need to take it in. Drives me absolutely crazy driving home, through x3 back-to-back round-abouts. Clicks throughout the entire time from right to left and back again.
Got an appointment with a dealer next week to take the truck in...
About to order the ORP springs. Can someone check me here? I found this conversion chart on the forum and was going to use it for my order. I highlighted my spring part# (non-ORP) and the corresponding ORP spring. Online, it only shows RIGHT, REAR and LEFT, FRONT available with these part #s...
Did you ever get this setup installed? I am looking at doing the exact same thing. Swap non-ORP with ORP springs and go with the longer Bilstein 5100s. Any feedback or notes would be appreciated!
I am trying to find information on this. If I have a non-ORP and install the ORP springs, would I need to replace my rear shocks? Are OPR and non-ORP rear shocks the same or different?
I like the truck! ORP springs do not appear to be that expensive compared to Bilstein or Icon springs. I can order these, install with the Bilstein's, and UCA and be good. I'm on the fence with the Mopar UCA vs ReadyLift UCA. With the ORP springs, I can get the additional 1" I want in the rear...
With my truck being non-ORP. What would I get by installing ORP springs on each corner with 5100 shocks? Would I get 1" front and rear if I ran the front on Bilstein setting #1?
Great note, I like the Ready Lift UCS better than the Mopar one. This route will be slightly more expensive than Mopar's lift, but should be better shocks, and allow for more suspension travel off roading.
After some researching on here and elsewhere, I think I'm going to go with the following (if Bilstein's come back in stock):
- Bilstein 6112 setup
- Icon 1.5" Rear Coil Springs
- Mopar 2" UCA
- Tires 295/60/20
Any concern anyone sees? I'd like to go with the Rough Country UCAs, but they...
