I love mine. I have a Laramie Longhorn with Black and New Saddle interior. It's like a dark tomb with the sunshade closed. The pano roof makes the interior look more spacious and airy.
I dropped my truck off at my dealer "Freedom Auto Group" in Harrisburg PA Monday after work. Freedom is doing 3 recalls, an oil & filter change and attempting to fix the rrrrrrrip dash noise (new video attached) that the truck has had from new. Also fixing the transmission or differential clunk...
I have never touched the mats with anything. The truck is not my daily driver yet. I mainly bought it now for use when I retire. (I know, bad investment). There is only a little over 2,000 miles on the truck at this point.
I have never even cleaned the mats other than vacuuming them. No...
I got the seatbelt pre-tensioner recall on mine as well. It possibly could be the source of the noise if the module is in the dash. It could be a rapid fire of relay that is making the noise. The dealer is going to perform that recall on the 18th.
I've never heard anyone else complain if that...
I'd much rather do this myself than let the dealer, who's going to have a tech work on it that really doesn't give a ____!
Back in 2018, I put some sponge rubber foam for air conditioner insulation in between the bottom hard plastic Velcro and the metal retainer. It worked for the longest...
I know what you mean. I love my truck too. I just want to get all of these annoying noises, squeaks and rattles fixed.
I had forced some foam between the hard plastic Velcro fastener and its retainer. It worked for months to silence the clicking and ticking. Now that the weather is warm again...
My truck goes in on the 18th to have many ticks, clicks, squeaks, rattles and rrrip noise from the dash fixed.
The headliner is one issue as well. Thanks for posting the star case number. I will make sure to provide that info to Freedom Auto Group when they attempt my pano headliner repair.
I have the whistle from the rear as well. It just got louder now that the weather is warming up.
I think my truck could win an award for the most noises, squeaks, ticks, clicks, rattles and whistles.
I don't remember paying for them when I ordered my truck! I guess FCA threw them in at no...
I just found the mats on Amazon for $475. Quite the discount.
I scheduled my truck in for its first service at my dealer, Freedom Auto Group in Harrisburg PA, on the 18th. I am going to see if they'll replace the mats under warranty. They are oxidizing badly. If they don't, I'll have to fight...
I'm really hoping the dealer will just replace them under warranty. I was tempted to buy a spare set earlier on, but when I looked up the price, they were almost $700 for a complete set.
For some reason, they have
aged prematurely. I'm thinking the chemical composition ratio at manufacturer was incorrect.
I'm sure if mine are deteriorating, there has to be others out there as well.
My truck was a September 2018 build. I took delivery in October. The mats looked fine until about a month ago, then they all started to look like they are decaying.
The truck is parked under a carport, where sun does not hit it.
The rubber is definitely deteriorating. It is also starting to...
I have noticed that the factory Carpeted floor mats on my black and new saddle interior are starting to deteriorate
The carpet part is fine, but the black rubber is starting to turn chalky white. If you rub it with your finger, it feels powdery and you can smear it around.
This has started to...
One of these days it's going to cause me to accidentally blow out the speakers.
Many times I raise the volume on my Note 9 forgetting that the UConnect has that stupid delay on Bluetooth. All of a sudden a few seconds later, I'm scrambling to turn the UConnect volume down before the voice...
That was my reasoning as well. Not sure what I'll do yet.
I test drove both a Limited and Longhorn. Both were whisper quiet on the test drive.
I ultimately ordered a Longhorn (which ended up costing about $3,500 more than a compatibility equipped Limited). I had to have the black and new...
I bought one of those seals months ago when we were all discussing them on this forum.
I never installed it though.
Someone had mentioned that they thought the possible reason it was deleted from production was that debris could accumulate between the bed and cab wall with the seal in place...
It was operater error!
After reading the manual, it states that the wipers will not automatically actuate when the rotary control switch is set to position 1 or 4.
I set mine to 3 and low and behold, the wipers started automatically when the truck was started with a wet windshield after...
