    Tow/haul mode always when towing?

That's because the lighter duty models (Durango, Gladiator, Wrangler, etc) are programmed to automatically switch into a towing program when weight is detected. This was stated directly by engineers in videos when the new models debuted a few years back. If Tow/Haul mode weren't beneficial, it...

    TazerDT for 2022 working yet?

18.1.6 works great on my June 2022 build, but every version after that does not.

    Vacation troubles

You said it was vibrating/shaking before dying. But what about noises? Did it make any loud noises?

    5.7 can do it!

Yeah I'm super happy with mine. I have 35" tires and a 2" lift and we went on vacay last week with the family in the cab and the entire bed completely full of gear and I got 19.8 MPG coming home and 20.2 going to the destination.

    Brink Insurgents 20x9

Give us a side profile shot or two. I would have expected 0 offset to be slightly farther out than that.

Can we order Laramie's with the Hemi e-torque motor?

Without even realizing how bad things were going to go downhill, I brought home a '22 at the very end of production. I got the fender flares, non-hybrid Hemi, and a few other goodies that we had no idea were going to disappear. Sometimes I think I should keep this truck forever, because it's...

2019 RAM 4wd overheated performance temporarily reduced

Since the Auto selection allows more slippage at the center differential, it in turn builds heat even faster, which can lead to overheating even faster. I assume some guys try 4-high in an attempt to keep things locked up in the center diff and keep temps down. On snowy roads either is fine...

    AFE SHORTY headers

I suppose a guy could wrap them in that fancy exhaust heat wrap prior to bolting them on. There are two schools of thought on that though...some folks think the wrap holds moisture and that's bad.

    Conspiracies - theory or fact?

Is anyone else here surprised that these videos of people with pro-America and/or conservative views are allowed to stay online? I mean, the fact that we can watch George Carlin rat them out, just as one example of thousands....how is that still online for all to watch? I'm shocked the...

    AFE SHORTY headers

Does the OE midpipe bolt directly onto these headers, or do these headers require further aftermarket parts downstream?

    35 tire help please

Or, maybe they ride like s*** because it's an objective fact that Bilstein designs their shocks to be more firm and the stroke is different. Yeah, yeah that's probably more like it. I've done everything from full blown lift kits to Bilstein levels to spacer kits on probably 20 or 30 rigs from...

    35 tire help please

As someone who has done leveling kits both ways, I 100% disagree with this advice. The Bilstein 5100s ride like s*** and it's pretty hard to guess how much actual lift you're going to get. Plus they are much harder to install so most guys end up paying to get them installed. Conversely, a...

    Tow/haul mode always when towing?

I think that in a *towing* situation the benefit of Tow/Haul mode is that it adds hydraulic line pressure, which in turn reduces wear inside the transmission. Sure, it also uses engine braking more aggressively and it tries to avoid 8th gear to protect the transmission, but the main benefit is...

If not a Ram, then what?

Dodge/Ram really got my attention with their "The New Dodge" campaign back in the early 1990s. In my opinion, the '94 truck is what saved the company. Things only got better from there, as sales of the new truck brought money into the company to improve other products. By '98 my father...

2019+ Rams with Lifts/Levels, and/or aftermarket wheel tire setups

Did I miss something? Did somebody talk trash about Motofab or something? I must have been off that day.

If not a Ram, then what?

If I were going to buy a new truck today, it would be a Ford F-350 Supercrew 4x4 XL. I'd add the XL Off Road package, roof clearance lights, spray in bedliner, step rails, and maybe the Pro Power Onboard package. Would come out around $56k sticker and would be MUCH more capable as a truck and...

2019+ Rams with Lifts/Levels, and/or aftermarket wheel tire setups

Wow. Biggest change of this entire thread. That truck looked like a lowered street truck before, and looks like it's not even the same truck after. Crazy what a difference. It's a travesty how low these trucks sit to the ground from the factory and how short the little OE tires are. I...

Engine, rear gear, type of differential

My current truck proves a point that I want to make about this thread, which is that the "take rate" can be confusing. Just because somebody buys something, that doesn't necessarily mean it's what they truly wanted. My truck has 3.21 open diff. I would MUCH rather have 3.92 limited slip...

    2023 disable seatbelt alarm?

I'm sorry that happened to you. That really sucks. Whether or not the extender is to blame would be debatable since the anchor point of the receptacle is not changing. The only thing that changes is a couple inches of the webbing is replaced by solid material. That should make no difference...

Key Left Vehicle Feature (Three Horn Chirp)

Ram Cares sucks. They ask a question, get an answer, then ghost us for months, then when they show back up they list all the reasons they added the stupid feature to begin with. WE DON'T CARE. We never asked for the feature and we don't want it. Allow us to choose!
