where did you get them from? BAM wholesale was the cheapest i could find. perfect fit and i agree the are pretty thin, almost as thin as a gallon of milk but that is what mopar put's on at the factory if it is optioned that way on the bright side they came with all new hardware.

i also have a 2wd, the first fix was to re grease the slip joint on the driveshaft. i am about to give it a try. i do have a extended drivetrain warrantee 120k mi and 5.5 more years from now with a 100 dollar deductible but i'll probably just do it myself.
what do you mean by issues? no matter what the egr in a "modern" diesel will soot up.

to me fast is top speed, quick is not the same thing. i did the "cheap" route Pulsar and a Banks petal monster it feel's better with those mods.
my laramie is 5000 pounds so i don't expect it be quick. my bighorn q-cab was no slouch for a almost 5000 pound truck
sounds like a BCM thing.... is it under warrantee? if not you could have had it weeks ago for 450.
